Hi Joe, sorry I don't have any experience with Columnaris. You could try get some furan 2 but I wouldn't mix it with the other medicines. Sometimes I reduce the water level in the tank if I need to catch fish... it helps a bit. Wow, your parents let you stay home from school to look after your fish? I wish I could have stayed home today Sarah

I think there's one allowed in NZ now. It was brought in as part of one of HFF's recent special shipments - lamprologus ocellatus.

The male cherry barbs in my tank used to chase the other fish in the tank but I didn't notice any fin nipping

Hi Melanie, I've found the cherry barbs I've had to be hardy - in fact they bred in my tank and I got quite a few new fish from them. Make sure you get a group of at least 5 and it's better to have more females than males.

Looks good P44! I'm a bit envious of the colour of your arcuata :lol: I like the dwarf flag cichlids and the discus. I'm glad they survived the tank disaster!

I think it looks deeper without the black background, as you can't quite tell where the tank ends. What's in the net breeder?
