    Jumping fish

Mine never hit the lid and when the water is at its highest, there is a 4cm gap between water surface and lid.
  2. When people are new to a site they don't always think to look at the date of previous posts. His comment is no less valid now than it would have been then.
  3. I have a spare tank etc here Joe.
  4. I'm wondering if you are right there with it being an anchor worm. Google some images Joe (now you have broadband) and see if they match. They appear to to me but my eyesight isn't the best.
  5. This meeting has been postponed until October 2nd 8) All other details stay the same. :happy2:
  6. Sounds to me like you are already full of it Anthony :sml1:
  7. Lucky! Some people have no respect for others' property :an!gry

    New Killi Tanks

I have the same problem as your other post. It appears to be trying to load images but all I get is 5 lines with the word "Image" on them :-?
  14. Hmmm I can't see anything except 9 lines of the word "Image" :dunno:
  15. The thermostat is wired in. I too have an under tank heat pad like Alan's. I also have the directions for making them from scratch but take no responsibility if something goes wrong. You need electrical knowledge to do it. PM me if you want the instructions.
  16. They can still have moods, or breeding inclinations, on their own Have a look at the fish from above. You can often tell male or female by the shape when looking down on them. Males are slimmer and very straight. Females tend to bulge a little on one side more than the other and it makes it look like their tail is a little off centre.
  17. Wow combined French and English reply. Very clever Deepsound :happy2: dyspepsia
  18. How does that fit squirt? No word in common
  19. Looks like a good idea. Too many people start off aiming too high then get discouraged.
  20. Mine are not fish related and unsuitable for a family forum
  21. I am totally useless at growing veg and find that by the time my pathetic, spindly looking things are ready to harvest (assuming they didn't die), a lot of people have too much and are always offering us their excess! The parsley in the garden died but the seeds that blew into the cracks in the concrete drive are thriving! I have been giving a lot away as I have more than I can use  Daughter has just started a number of seeds. She does it at school and gets the class interested too. The school has their own vege garden as well. I have a friend who managed to keep her family well supplied with vege by growing them all in buckets.
  22. Tell us more mcrudd. Is this an organised thing or something you have made up yourself? My weight is up a little thanks to my injury and the drugs I am on. I am sure, once I am back to full speed and off the meds, the weight will drop again.
  23. With that amount and the 2 days, I suggest it was the fish were too far gone and the dose too small to do anything for any meds to work, rather than blame the Wunder Tonic itself. The key to prevent most diseases is to keep the aquarium water top quality.
  24. What colour is the fish? Lighter colours tend to show up stuff like this more. Perhaps it is a mood thing, or breeding display?
