I have UG in the 6 foot tank. The UG pipe is the perfect size to fit on to the CF2400 intake pipe so it goes through the UG and then to the big filter. It works really well and the plants love having all muck sucked in to their roots

As a few people on here are likely to tell you... If he is feral then you need to catch it and or kill it. It will be killing native animals and be causing all sorts of un-needed death. If you try to scare it away you are just helping the problem NZ has with feral cats. I would suggest that you ask the SPCA for a live cage and do not tell them he is feral. Just tell them that he is there and your no one knows who owns it. So you want to catch it so they can try to find it a new home. There should be no charge to you.

They would need to prove that they did have one of the tanks that was put aside for the TM auction (and not for sale in their shop). If a product it being auctioned then it is deceptive conduct to actively advertise it and sell it by another means.

I would also say it is "false and deceptive conduct" You should tell them that "they have tried to sell you something that does not exist so you will be tempted to buy a more expensive product" this is a direct breach of the fair trading act and has a penalty of $60,000 for an individual & $200,000 for companies.

It is rotten so the whole lot needs to be replaced. I would get a quote and then get your insurance to cover it. If you are with AA they will pay to get it fixed

If you are changing your water regularly there would be little to no build up in the environment

the issue is not the lead it is the flux they use in it. It would be like putting paint stripper in to the tank

I have had girls that play nice untill he takes a nip and then beats the boy untill he is almost dead. One of our boys had a nice tail and then the girl just kept going intill the just had a little stump.

Fighters are very interesting. I have had multiple males in one tank without a problem and other times when there is more than one it ended with a few dead fish. The same can be said about the females. They can be bossy and aggressive or the can be lovely community fish.
