    Just tell him they were happy when they left and try to explain to him that buying fish privately has its risks and sometimes fish dont like the change in environment and dont survive in their new home. The big thing is to keep calm and dont talk down to him

    I would just buy the figs. By the time you drive down her and get them you would have spent more on gas than you would save foraging... Oh and I am lazy and foraging requires effort

    I changed it to 10 because we split the season between 2 nights. They have had 18 this season so far

    It should have filled its self up by now. If there was air in it it would be making a horrible noise I think it might be worth wile pulling the impeller out and checking. If you have a lolly pop stick they can work as a substitute until you get a new shaft. It may be a good idea to put another filter on the tank if you have a spare

    I hit mine when it wont work and sometimes it makes it go so shaking it would be ok. The shaft is the little (normally ceramic) tube that goes down the middle of the impeller. It looks like a lolly pop stick

    Check the impeller shaft and make sure it is not broken

    I think the Viper is number 5 and I believe it is this is number one. The viper is about 34 seconds slower

    I use a camp roll for the big red shed and it is fine for the 4 foot and we have just doubled them up for the 6 foot tank. I think the reason people use thicker is more about insulation than anything else.

    That depends on which is oldest and how much of a gap there is. If the boy is a couple of years older do you really want to have older guys (all his hormone driven friends) hanging around your daughter?

    Yep if you use a HOB and either drill a hole at the desired water level or a hole in the bottom and a pipe up to the water level you will have something like this

    Would anyone up there like a YoYo loach (or 2 if I can catch the second) when we come up? One is what I would call large (8-10cm) and the other is medium.
