There could be a number of reasons for failing to hatch. Wrong temp, inadequate airation, incorrect salinity, old eggs. How did you go about hatching them?

Hi djay. I keep Bristlenoses with my Malawis and I'm pretty sure I've heard of people keeping Clown Loaches with them. Others will have to confirm this though.

It should dry fine indoors. Use paper towels if you need to. Any bleach must surely be gone by now. Can you still smell it?

Hi nicmack. Until your tests read 0.00 Ammonia and 0.00 Nitrite. Only then is your tank fully cycled. On uncycled tanks I do 30% water changes daily until the Ammonia spike is over then every second day until the Nitrite spike is over. HTH

Hi and welcome to the forums. How long has the tank been set up? The dust....Maybe it's over feeding, which is very easy to do. Try halving the amount you feed for a week and see if that helps. Also, check to see that your filter is up to the task. Ideally, you want it to move at least 4 times the tank volume an hour.

I have no idea about the natives....but I've heard that tropicals can go without food for 2 weeks and be OK.
