I've been thinking about taking Shiana around to see some fish in the local streams etc.
Anyone got any spots that would be good? Keep in mind she's 6, and I'ld rather she didn't have to get waist deep to see the aquatic life.
Grows well. Not necessarily breeds well?
I was thinking gorse, rabbits, sparrows, etc. The ones that have become pests, which made me think possoms. I'm still shocked that they're protected in Aus :slfg:
Keeping in mind that in NZ, stuff grows, and grows well.
It may have only had 5mm a year growth where it came from, but there are several imports to NZ that have taken off and gotten out of control because people didn't realise that they could.
Damn possoms.
Should I know who that is? I'm not going to do a Google image search at work, especially with some of the interesting things that turn up on this forum.
Funny that.
edit: To be more clear: I'm annoyed that she got off lightly. Tan got what he deserved and she should have got the same, or worse. She was warned and kept going.
Purplex had some insane neons attacking her Betta too :dunno:
I have 10 in my display tank. Never get a boo out of them. They go about their business and leave everyone alone.
I have 3 that I am looking after (still haven't been told if the owner wants them back or not) that are in a separate tank as they had odd growths on their tails when they arrived. One is missing part of his tail, and I am watching to see whether or not it grows back before they are returned to the main tank.
As long as you don't get the urge to add more fish, it seems logical that the current setup would be fine.
However, you were the one that taught me that it's better to be safe than sorry with the filtration. Think of it like insurance...
