  1. IME, there are never too many water changes (Even with green water, when water changes FEED the green water). Live liquid bacteria and fresh water. Lots of flow.
  2. Coke vs Pepsi. Little Nicky comes to mind... BTW, I'm a Coke fan too. Forgot about the BR player, always a bonus. FFXIII is 3 DVDs for the Xbox, or 1 BR for PS3. Downloadable PS1 games are great too. Re-living the FFVII days and MGS.
  3. Good quality ones seem to work quite well. Cheap ones last a week.
  4. Buy a tree and graft or bud some blood oranges onto it. May as well throw in some lemons and mandarins too. This is my peach tree. Try to guess all the extras.
  5. In my opinion, this brown sludge algae looks like the new-tank algae. It haunted my AquaOne 90L tank and then my 245L tank for about 2 weeks, then almost overnight was gone, never to be seen again. As for the stringy algae, I can't help much.
  6. I prefer the PS, I've tried the Wii and the games are not mentally challenging. Xbox just seemed like MS trying to get a piece of the pie. PS3 currently used for gaming and streaming from local network to HDMI on TV. For Computers I prefer MS over Apple. Never liked their MAC software, always found Windows easier to work with. (I did like that all the programs were single files rather than components, but this made them harder to diagnose when a program crashed.). Android for phones, Apple's a rip off (lower quality, less functions, and costs more), and windows doesn't do touch screens well (haven't tried 8 yet).
  7. 1) Xbox or PS or Wii 2) Apple or Microsoft or Google (Android). State reasons ("just cuz" will be ok for now, but I'ld prefer reasons.)
  8. I Thought the natives aren't allowed to be shipped interisland?
  9. What, you altered the gravel? Sometimes there are nasties buried deep in the substrate that can cause wild swings if disturbed. I haven't done it, but ask some people who have circulated their sand substrate after it has been dormant.
  10. Interesting. I suppose it is fully possible that I am just a computer code. But I don't think so (but maybe I'm just programmed not to think so?)
  11. Urban Dictionary: dorifto www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dorifto 1. dorifto. The Japanese word for drift
  12. They are already there. Not for a while, no one has thrown money at it yet. Tell Apple that Samsung are working on it - problem solved. Probably. At the moment, very unlikely. Otherwise our simulation would contain some of this seemingly-futuristic technology. Good Movie. Better than Inception.
  13. Buy a Dell one-off, get the full WIN7 backed up to a USB pen, and format any drives with issues  :slfg:
  14. I like the clear patch. Suits the fiery look
  15. Bring it round after 5pm, I'll sort it for ya.
  16. If you are on that train, you would also be traveling at the speed of light, so it wouldn't matter where you walked, unless you walked off the train, (I'm guessing off the side rather than off the front (SQUISH)), in which case you would begin to slow down VERY fast. Speed of light = 299 792 458 ms-1 I'm sure there are things that COULD go faster, we just cannot observe or record them yet.
  17. Could they have been farmed and someone just lost some stock?
  18. When your still browsing forums at quarter to 2 in the morning, cause it's more interesting than sleep.
  19. 95, 98, ME, XP, Vista, 7, 8. I'ld like to try 8, but I'm not sure if I can load it onto an android tablet. I've heard the hardware won't support it?
  20. You can register your breedings with the local clubs. It helps everyone know what is being bred in captivity
  21. Depending on the current flow, my guppies loved swimming in the current from the filter. IME they have always been more of a surface than a mid or lower dwelling fish, but that is where the current was. Try placing a small amount of food in a different area and see how they react. It will be clear if the current is too strong.
