  1. Nice! And good luck, it's not that hard aslong as you plan out all the details of shifting it.
  2. It won't lol, especially in a tank that size. As soon as the lights are out and your not looking your angels will have a nice feed more than likely I am sorry to say.
  3. +1 I have 4 tanks running and I change around 20% water twice a week aswell, it does seem to make a difference in the health and behavior of the fish.
  4. Looks good so far Joe, did you not like the sand? I have just setup my new 500ltr tank and the sand looks great.
  5. How long have you had the tank going for? In my experience clown loaches are really sensitive to water conditions and really should only be added to an established, healthy tank - especially if they are really young/small. They also grow into huge monster fish that should be kept in huge monster tanks.
  6. No worse than the Warriors atm though lol, go the All Blacks!
  7. That's just silly, this has nothing to do with what you mean Naverre. No offence is meant mate.
  8. Wow, looks great! You must have a green thumb
  9. I've been supporting Afghanistan for years now. Keep up.
  10. Once its up and running for awhile she should be fine getting a pair of dwarf gourami - smaller ones like honeys and reds, a few guppies - go for just males or the tank will look like a bowl of fish soup after not too long and a small group of dwarf corys - pandas and pygmys etc. Also a couple of otocinclus cats would be fine in there aslong as there's a few plants for them to graze algae off.
  11. Nice pics dude, looks like a good place to visit when I do get to Auckland.
  12. Depends what thickness the glass is, but somewhere around 680-700ltrs. Heres a handy volume calculator; http://www.angelfish.net/tankvolcalc.php
  13. I have researched it aswell and as far as I know the general consensus is aslong as you use the right type of thread tape and tighten it enough you should be fine adding a regulator onto a co2 extinguisher bottle.
  14. In your 1st post you said you had access to one, now you are saying you have one at home, is it just me or am I missing something?
  15. I use an ice cream container, produces more than enough to feed out to 3 different tanks once a week each.
  16. Where in the warehouse would I find it Jen? In the automotive section?
  17. What type of cichlid is the 1st one david? Kind of looks like a keyhole but with nicer marking/colour.
