  1. 4ft is the one on top in that picture. I have 2 one is cracked. Its fine for a bearded dragon, I wouldn't try holding water in it though unless you want to silicone it up.
  2. Hey guys, so while I'm back in NZ I'm trying to have a clean out of my storage unit. I have some glass tanks and 2 original EPS DELUXE Enclosure Shell 2nds. The glass tanks have sliding doors and lids. The lids have thermostats, uv battens, and fittings for heat lamps etc. The tanks were used when we were breeding, I think theres a crack in 1 of them, and they need a clean, but like I say they are going cheap and they need to be picked up by Saturday. $200 for 4ft EPS DELUXE Shell. These are 2nds and have some scratches etc. $80 for 4ft glass tank and lid. I have 2 of these. $60 for 3ft glass tank and lid. contact: [email protected] I have a 5ft with a hardwoord lid with lights etc that might be available if someone can give me a good offer on it. Not the best pic of the 5ft tank, and one of the 4ft tank on the top.
  3. Thank you everyone, once again I am impressed with the amount of people who are willing to give a needy dragon a good home. Dragon was picked up today, sorry to anyone that I didn't reply to. Cheers
  4. Enclosure is 4 x 2 x 2, Glass sliding doors on front.
  5. Hey guys, Anyone interested in a free bearded dragon with enclosure? Im living in Aus now, and a friend of mine has inherited a dragon from someone who didn't feel they could look after it anymore. He knew I'd be able to find it a home so he accepted it. I'm going to be back in Auckland on the 17th of July to the 24th. Pick up could be made in that time. I don't know to much about it, I haven't seen any photos, just what he's told me. It's approximately 1.5 years old, not sure of size or condition yet. Its been fed on vegetables and pellet food its whole life, and I've been told it was fed crickets and mealworms for the first half of its life but then live food became too expensive. The enclosure is a glass EPS enclosure, it has a basic lid with lights and thermostat etc. I think there might be a crack in the enclosure, but i'm not sure. Enclosure needs new lamps, but we can work out a deal on that. Im sorry I can't give you more information, I just thought i'd post this to see if there's any interest. I'll update this post once I see it, with its sex and condition. This could be a really good opportunity for someone who's been thinking about a getting a bearded dragon or maybe can't afford one. You'd also be saving a little bearded dragon and giving it a better life. You can PM on here, or email at [email protected] Thanks guys.
  6. Hey guys, went to Taronga Zoo on Wednesday. Thought i'd share some of what I saw. They had some really cool reptiles. The komodo dragon and the anaconda in particular. Some of the photos aren't super clear, and they are a bit out of order, but enjoy. Check it out: Cool Sculpture in the harbour Komodo Dragon File Snakes Tuatara Reticulated Python Sailfin Lizard Egyptian Cobra Star Tortoises Green Anaconda Boa Constrictor feeding on mouse Basilisk Green Iguanas Massive Snake-Neck, this thing was like hub-cap sized Red-Bellied Black Snake River Cooters Baby Saltwater Crocodile Johnston's Crocodile Komodo Dragon Veiled Chameleon White-Lipped Tree Frog Gila Monster Anaconda Rhinoceros Iguana Some sort of skink, can't remember Frilled Dragon Baby Saltwater Crocodile Crevice Dragon Giant Cave Gecko Blue Tongue Skink Johnston's Crocodile
  7. Hey Matt, How's Spike doing? Settling in ok?
  8. Sorry, they are inland bearded dragons. If there are any people in Auckland that are interested in taking them on please let me know. 021447911 Thanks
  9. Hey I just want to say I think it's great that I've had so many people respond from up and down the country. You guys are awesome. I have limited access to the internet at the moment so if I haven't replied to your pm's thats why. I'll be calling all the people that have messaged me. I feel the dragons need to be kept separately, so if anyone out there thinks they can look after just one of them message me too. Thanks guys
  10. Hey guys, I've had 2 baby dragons dropped off to me over the weekend. I don't know much about where they came from or who. The person who gave them to me only said that they belonged to someone who under estimated the care that was required and decided they could no longer care for them. They are supposed to be a 9-10 months old, but are very small. One is missing the end of its tail and is a bit shaky. The other is the larger of the 2 and has missing digits on two feet. I've had them 2 days now, they are ferocious eaters, love beans, carrot, mealworms, and crickets. They are both great little guys, that just need some love and attention. I'm moving to Australia in a few weeks, so I can't look after them, but I just couldn't turn them away. Please if any one is interested in taking them on, contact me 021447911. I can help with enclosure, lighting, food etc. Cheers, Tyson
  11. Thats cool. Anyone know anyone who keeps tunnel webs or avondale spiders? would love to have one. I keep a Badumna insignis at the moment, she's awesome, I feed her whatever I can catch.
  12. Hi, your temp at the basking spot should be around 40 degrees. Your cooler side should be around 26 degrees. There should be a gradient in temperature between the 2 sides. Also, your dragon should be getting 14 hours of sunlight a day during summer. Do this and I'm positive you will see a change within 2 days. Hope that helps
  13. Pro Tip: Microwave your wheatgerm and let it cool down before you use it. Don't keep anything you buy from Bio Supplies anywhere near your own stock. Their waxworms gave me mites twice before i realized that's where they were coming from.
