  1. I am talking about not being able to access anything in the members section of the main fishroom page, not the forum. Things like viewing the magazine and back issues online. Shouldn't I be able to access this being a financial member of fnzas?
  2. I have the same problem, would be great if it actually worked!
  3. In my experience I would never keep apistos with kribs, the body shape of both fish is too much alike which causes aggression problems even in a tank with lots of territories, also cribs can easily get to twice the size of any apisto. I would go with either keyholes or firemouths maybe even some dwarf flags.
  4. I just read this on teletext, how disgusting.
  5. I completely agree David, me and my partner have been arguing about this all day, she is a cat lover and just can't seem to understand my reasoning.
  6. Well stop procrastinating and do it!
  7. Oh, no co2 would drop the ph it can't raise it. Sorry Henward
  8. Anything that can't fit in it's mouth.
  9. American Marines make a good quality ph monitor specifically for aquariums Henward, I know someone who has one for sale if you are interested?
  10. If you are that worried about ph swings Henward I would consider setting up a ph controller, they run off co2. Most people use them for planted tanks but I don't see any reason why you can't use it in your tank to control ph. I may be wrong though.
  11. In that situation I would charge around $50 each for the offspring, that should cover all expenses from breeding them. It won't recover the initial cost of all 5 but at least you are on your way and anyway since you have a breeding pair the next few batches will.
  12. Looks amazing Raymond, using just echinodorus species is really effective, especially with that nice wood! Those discus look great too.
  13. Nice tank dude, those rocks look great!

    Koi Guppy

In an ideal world that would be correct JaSa, on the other hand with guppies being a reasonably cheap fish some people with no morals might not mind if their strains are weak and don't last long as the majority of people who keep guppies don't care enough to question why their fish keep dying and just keep shelling out more money for replacements. In some ways this is called good business practice.

    Koi Guppy

I agree with Rabbit, how is it JaSa that the offspring of my imported guppies seem quite weak and die quite easily then when they have never gone through the process you described? Must be genetics.

    FX5 Motor

:smot: but do you mind if I ask what sort of fish do you keep blue?
  17. I know, just yesterday when I went to bin inn to get my epsom salt the lady at the counter enquired what I was using them for and when I said fish she asked me a few questions and then she told me how she has kept 2 tropical tanks for awhile and then she got the other cashier over and explained how she keeps fish aswell. Ended up spending 30minutes there talking about them and getting my brain picked lol.
  18. From what I understand about leds is you get what you pay for.
  19. That's pretty cool man, thanks.
  20. Really, I only know of 2 others and a few retired salties locally.
