  1. Exactly, our argument is there should be the same damn laws for cats and their irresponsible owners.
  2. You can rent a bottle from boc gas for not much per month.
  3. It's alright Alan, I wanted to hear it. Good on you.
  4. http://www.trademe.co.nz/pets-animals/f ... 317375.htm Likoma is using one of these and it works great.
  5. Yeah, I was kind one expecting more after all the talk throughout this thread. Still a good breeding room.
  6. Looks great so far Likoma, can't wait to see it finished!
  7. Hey guys does anyone know of anyone in NZ that makes/can make tanks out of acrylic?
  8. This isn't for donations, it's for people applying for some financial help from the money that has already been donated.
  9. Wow that is creepy, I knew Hollywood is full of aliens!!
  10. Celebration - Game Don't usually listing to ©rap but for some reason I felt like it today.
  11. Not the same as dogs at all Joe, if I put up a gate it would keep unwanted dogs out, it won't keep a cat out though. Also if I had a stray dog in my yard and caught it I could call animal control and they would come collect it no worries, why should it be any different with a cat?
  12. Even on live stock? I know our lfs doesn't.

Livebearer breeder I think you are the one with the problem, you seem to just like trolling the forums looking for people to start an argument with, I think most posts I read of yours you are always questioning someones motives or reasoning trying to get a response. Do you need a cuddle?
  14. The weipro products have good reviews on fishstreet.com Henward.
  15. Well, from looking online at prices that they generally sell for I would think somewhere around the $250-300 range is quite fair. It all comes down to many different factors though like size, quality, original cost, etc. etc. I guess it always comes back to what the interested buyer is prepared to pay bearing in mind that most people aren't prepared to pay the big money for a fish that you rarely get to see and should not be kept in a community tank in my opinion. I know that in the near future I will be definitely buying some wether it be from hff or a private breeder, I have always wanted some and am prepared to spend the money when I have it.
  16. It won't stop them from killing birds blueether, but it might make a lot more people consider the implications of owning a natural born killer before they do. It might also help by making people think about keeping the animal inside and not roaming instead of just feeding it and letting it do what it wants. Your argument could work just the same with dogs, how does chipping them make them any less likely to attack someone/thing, it doesn't, it just makes more owners take more care of them and not let them roam free.
  17. They should be fine dude, just make sure the tree hasn't been sprayed with anything.
  18. My point is I shouldn't even have to do that, I once made the crazy cat lady that lived in front of me come over and help me clean it all up one time, that was hilarious especially when she moved about 2 months later. I should invest in a slug gun. Plus I prefer throwing it over the paedophiles fence who lives next door.
  19. Nice Sophia, go enjoy a piece of cake.
  20. Good to see all you cat owners must be watching them 24/7. I find it hard to believe anyone can say their cat won't do this or that unless you are spending every minute of every day there is no way to guarantee what you all are claiming. All I know is I am sick of having to clean up cat turds all over my yard when I don't even own one, how is that fair. Especially when the spca demand a donation if I do catch one and drop it off. Last time I done that I claimed the cat was my sisters who had left town and abandoned it, even then I had to threaten to dump it if they didn't take it.
  21. I have spent quite a bit of time trying to find some bred locally but it seems the few people who have managed to breed them just sell to hff. They probably keep quite a few aswell for personal breeding stock. $399 is a pretty reasonable price considering how highly valued these plecs seem to be worldwide, but you would still think someone would be willing to sell them privately without the markup that petstores add. Saying that the hff price has nearly halved in the short space of a few years so they may be even cheaper in the near future. The only one I have seen listed on trademe privately was from Jamos and I am not sure if it sold or not.
  22. Cool, cheers Warren. I think Caryl has forwarded my details to zev but nothing has happened since then, this was last year.
