  1. Wow, awesome man. I'm impressed that she wants to breed. I reckon it'll be the live food you gave her.
  2. I disagree; seems to be getting even more rubbish. My favourite period was 80's through to early 2000's. Good rock era. Foo fighters, Nirvana, Incubus etc. Not this Nicki minage rubbish.
  3. Chuck food in at night; will most probably feed then. Although mine came out to eat regularly during the day. Tankmates? Sometimes they make them shy.
  4. I think they are weaker out of personal experience.
  5. Palmas Buttekoferi. Not ropefish, not senegal.
  6. I'd really like some more money.
  7. Completely stop feeding bloodworms, start on hikari. It will starve for a little bit but should transition over quickly if it's that young.
  8. You can find heaps of taddies around lake rotorua (I think that lake, the one next to the town), in small warmed puddles that occur around the edges of the lake.
  9. Nah, probs just a mixed genetics midas variant.
  10. Yeah man so easy to get the enviro specialisation! Barely any papers to get it! Had my PADI since I was 13/14. Going to try and get it up to master level this summer.
  11. That looks awesome dude, great colours right there.
  12. Aquariums don't take on many people and there are a lot of applicants, they usually prioritise the people with the degree...obviously. But yeah, fisheries and aquaculture are my main ones, but if kelly tarltons said they would hire me heck yeah I would go.
  13. I did start off doing that; and since a lot of the papers crossed over the double major seemed like a better option. Now I have multiple fields of knowledge rather than just one. Already made friends on the ecology front. Yeah I want to get some job experience before others, gives you a head start after finishing the degree. I want to do either a postgraddip or honours afterwards too, so it's still a while to go.
  14. I am a second year student at the University of Auckland studying a double major in Marine ecology and Geography with the intention to postgrad after the completion of my bachelors. I am looking for some work experience over the summer break in the fields of aquaculture and fisheries, and although I am applying at multiple firms in New Zealand I was wondering whether there are any employment opportunities that you may know of? Thank you, Fraser
  15. Live foos: Nice work on the CB
  16. I don't think he should be grilled for making a hybrid, too many people high on their horses about 'purity', so long as the species isn't going extinct I don't think its really a biggie in the nz fish hobby. But yea, makes more sense to mate it with another cuban as the crosses won't look that amazing I don't think.
  17. That would be really great, I was a member of nzmas but never did anything on there, might get back on there I think. Will do it this summer after I find out whether or not I will be moving around for work.
  18. Average rarity; not really rare but are less seen than the other gouramis usually.
