I am thinking of getting an ebjd and am wondering if they are weaker?

do i feed the normal pallets?

will it get bullied by my con gt and salvini (all females)?

I've been looking at getting one also and am wondering about it being a weaker strain than your usual JD :dunno:

I think they are weaker out of personal experience.

they are a natural mutation which has been line bred so will have a more rduced genetic background, they are also smaller and slower growing than regulars as the gene for the blue is linked to runts ( :dunno: ho or why, but this is the main reason promoted for them not being found by commercial breeders earlier due to the culling of runts)

but I don't think "weaker" by this definition will be anything to worry about as they are very tough little fish, its like saying 10mm plate steel is weaker than 11mm plate steel

Agree with the above, but I'm not sure I'd recommend feeding pallets to any cichlid... (except maybe an uaru?)
