  1. you can get a set-up for around $600-1000 depending on chosen equipment. I think there is a breeder on Trademe Set-up and dragon for $700

  6. I work with aquaone tanks. If your looking for the neat finish definatly go for a all inclusive tank like your Eheim, Jebo, Aquaone... If your looking to keep fancy plecos or what ever glass tank with externals... All depends on what you want to keep, your budget and the way you want your tank to look in its chosen location.

  11. I am looking at starting a marine quarantine facility later down the line. But for now I am looking to get costs down on paper and plans into shape... Just wanted to know if there is a current market in the busisness. I am wanting to know if their is any interested party(s) that would be interested in purchasing marine fish/corals/inverts I understand that this all depends on quality/cost/suppky/size and so on, also please note that this is simply a expression of interest.   13. when i kept frogs, i used to hold a worm infront of their mouths for a few secs. They would take it then that would them be filled for 3 or so days.

  15. again i do agree with going to the RSPCA and getting your cats and dogs de-sexed. however I do agree with breeders supporting the breeding of their cats, crossing thesee cats also makes the blood stronger.
  16. dont thin its a good idea cross breeding... However I may be able to source you a male in about 6 months if your keen to waite.

    30,000 liters is allot of water. I dont think it could be from build up of nitrate/amonia. Has she checked to see if their is any close trees over hanging???
  19. I know a breeder who breeds them... Kim does them, dont know if she will be selling any this year. She is building up personal stocks. It would be worth too call her a see though.
  20. dont think you can inport them any more. Think maf took them off the lists. Very nice fish though.

    yes but they are still floating around for sale. They are allowed to fish out a certain amount each year and I think there are a few breeders.

  23. Just wanted to see if anyone wanted a supplier of insects? I am thinking about doing this for a few months as I am not keeping fish sadly. Main reason I can leave for a few days and not worry. So I am thinking about doing... Crickets Locusts is anyone keen on this? would freight and what not... Just post here if its something you would be interested in.
