I was looking at that discus pair on TM for $2500 How is it worth that much? I didnt think that we had that type of valued discus here in NZ? can someone explain how its worth more than the other imports that we are now commonly seeing? 222879170

none, i cant find any for sale at the moment. I have read that they are going through pet shops for $1500, but i am wanting to find the supplier of those pet stores... its not a project that you can do overnight. I will take me atleast a few years to build up stock so i can progress on to future plans of morphs... could be up to 6-8 years before we see any morphs yet?

no i very much doubt that there are many adults to go around. Most are kept for breeding? I wouldnt mind buying some and building my collection up. 1500 seams to be the price that they are stable at the moment.

After reading and seeing all these threads on morphs i am pritty keen on mayby trying to start a strain or two, i think they are awsome however how do i find the stock in NZ to get is started? i reckon i would need around 10-12 specamins, for variation and control... now where would i find 12 LOL!!! money wont be a issue i just need the contacts to start it

So she has a shot jaw from what i understand... im sure in the contract that it says some where along the line purcahse with your own judgement... Also you can have the animal vet checked, if it fails you can return it... but in a certain time frame... hours not days!!! I know it is wrong and they should clearly have told you about it if it is obvious...

I had a guide dog that we gave a home when he retired... had him put down last month... Hardest day of my life, I still get up-set when i think of him... He was my little arrow!!! However im glad i did it, we had a prowd dog who had done some really great things in his life and i didnt want pain of any type comming over such a great dog... Sometime you just have to do it!!!

Unforatantly most puppys sold in pet stores are toy breeds (due to size and what not) cant be diagnosed with defects until later on in life... It just doesnt show up and you cant test for it... Most toy breeds have these defects now...

Who breeds them? I am really after some or any other types you may have except the PB because they get to big

Also tip... TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR NUCKLES AND HANDS!!! is they said you hit them hard or even at all, you will get swelling and brusing on your hands... ask the officers to take photos of your hands and get them dates and signed... easy and can save allot of hassle

Diversion works on the bases that no-one can see it... Unless your job requires it e.g a primary school teacher or police officer those details wont be released. However some employees are now asking have you ever had diversion... up to you because they will never really find out...

Yes diversion will 'cover' it up. Not really though, if he ever went to join the forces, firefighter, docter, teacher or what not this WOULD come up. It will stay on a record and if the need be it could play a role... He should see it out... then sue the police and girlfriend for legal fees and stress. From what it looks like the police didnt investigate the matter as required. Hell i bet that he was charged and bailed that very same day.
