  4. point taken on the hight... would a 60cm cube be a better idea? If so i might just get a pair of clowns for the tank. If i had a peice of LR and one pair of clowns, should a external filter be ok???

  7. good luck. have you thought of approaching a lawyers firm and see if they will do it for free. Just a bit of PR
  8. I second that. Not only that you can download upgrades, add memory space, go onto the net. Check your emails and what not. Looks very cool too
  9. Dragons are one of the most beautiful fish in todays market. They are very slim and hard to find, and when you do expect to pay from $10,000-25,000USD. If you want to keep one or a pair you will need a tank... 10ftx4ftx4ft in size. This is because they need a vast amount of space, some people think that they dont being related to the seahorse but if I am personally doing this and spending up to 25k per fish? Secondly a BIG chiller, you need to keep a constant temperature. LR and LS... they need to be pest free. tank mates - woudnt risk it Getting them into the country. CITES, MAF and mayby IMER permission. LOTS of paper work paper work = Money Lastly feeding, we dont have the same live foods offered in many other countries, so you would have to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ trying to get food for them... Other than that they are a lovly fish and would be a pleasure to keep.

I have a tank (150 liters) that I want to get a pair or two kuda seahorses, or depending on what species are available at the time. I want to make my own LR because I have a vision and cant find the correct piece, the i will seed the dead rock with LR. Has anyone done this or have any links to this???
  16. wow i have two at 5cm and cant waite until they are 30cm ay. VERY unusual growth, normally 1-2'' per year... It will really slow down now.
  17. I was after someone who had birds, certain breeds. I had offers in Germany. You can export anything aslong as its not native. Or if its on CITES get all the documents together. He backed out of his side so deal was off.
  18. What about weekly/monthly donations? id do a monthly donation of $30-40 per week?
  19. I know this guy, it was Errol from Critter Kingdom. I can confirm that it died. He originally had a pair, the male died. We where going to import some more and I was going to give him a male for the use of the tanks then he stopped replying to emails. I gave him the suppliers contacts so maybe he imported some maybe he didnt. They are not a legall import as of yet, at the next visit to the import list the L46 and some other plecos will be added and some fish removed e.g livebearers. We cant export them from their native country because they are banned from export, they are being smuggled out but because of you unique laws e.g quarantine we cant get them. We can get them from private breeders but then you have to prove that they are CM and you still need CITES permit to export/import. Very expensive and lengthy process. Then you have to get them through quarantine... I was told by the little white bird that there is a importer who is breeding them in mass groups and they will slowly leak them into the country at around the $1000 mark...
  20. two of them are. two of them I have purchased locally.
