Maybe the bottom should be made out of thick plastic, more than strong enough to deal with deflection from an imperfect stand so all it really needs to handle is the occasional scratch from substrate, rocks etc and to stay watertight.

That's to sterilize it. Doesn't do anything for any kind of chemicals that might be in it except for dissolved gasses.

Unless you have boulders as your substrate I don't think it's possible to bury them enough they can't escape.

Aren't many heatpumps for fish tanks. Suppose you could try rigging up something with a waterblock and a peltier if you wanted.

1 is cold, 9 is hot. See where the temperature settles and adjust from there. That's what you have to do with just about all heaters, they just didn't BS people that the temperature on the side is anything other than an extremely vague approximation.

Yup, like Adrienne says say an auction is at $100 and I have set an autobid for $150. If someone else bids $110 then the autobid would automatically put in a bid for me at $111, but you wouldn't see the other guy's bid because it was less than mine. If they keep upping theirs trying to outbid me you'd just see a series of my bids.

Do not confuse flow velocity/pressure with flow volume. They're high volume low velocity/pressure pumps, not low volume high velocity/pressure like pond pumps

Haha, You must be xdrift on fishnhunt.co.nz I'm not really a hunting fan, but does making a lot of noise and rapidly moving small bits of metal from one point to another(With embarassingly poor accuracy) constitute a sport? Picked up a Mosin M44 earlier this week.

Having a couple big powerheads at the back pointed down the length of the tank usually gives a good swirl to the tank. The whole tank going in circles. Otherwise if you want a proper single directional flow you'll have to set up a closed loop system with intakes on one side and outlets on the other.

How can you smell what doesn't exist? I'm convinced claims of being able to smell when people are drinking are old wives tales and urban legends.
