    I have both, I can try and remember to record and send to people if anyone's interested. I did this with the tropical fish keepers doco too (although I think there were a couple of people who I never got around to doing it for - apologise if that's the case). Anyone really keen?

    Yeah I have to agree with everyone about the smell of mice. I had them as pets when young and they are really cute and all but they do smell dreadful and need a lot of cleaning. Also, I (thought I) had 8 females but I went away on holiday with friends and left my Mum with my 8 mice and came back to 37 mice.

    And there's someone selling 2 oscars too and says they need a 100L+ tank. Surely they need much more than 100L!

    I tried it again this morning and I was a little bolder and got the rest out. 14 little fry swimming around in a little tank now and Mum is back in her tank. Feels a little bit like playing God!

    It is day 19 and I just made my first attempt at stripping. I felt really mean. She only released one fry who is happily swimming around, but she won't give up any more, no matter how hard I tried, so I have put the one fry and mama into the spare tank, and will wait til she spits I guess.

    Yup turns out it is defo a hoax. The same photo is on an American website, perhaps they aren't in Wanganui after all.

    Someone is selling some sulcata and radiates tortoises in Wanganui.

    My BGK bit me yesterday, didn't hurt but gave me a fright. I have seen his mouth fully open too and have no doubt he could inflict a painful bite if he wanted to!
