  12. i dont think neons or any small fish for that matter would be suitable. my jewels are still small, 5cm max and they get fed plattys and guppies, the plattys are eaten up in a matter of seconds
  13. hahahahaha o dam i didnt re-read what i had typed just pushed submit...... woops Let me rephrase that....interesting me its not just me having problems with the sex outcome of my guppies...

  15. Hey guys after tons of feeding and water changes my fancy guppies are finally breeding, as usual tank if full of fry, that is fine i shouldnt be complaining but approx 95% of fry are female, temp is on the low side, around 22 degrees celcius. Would this be the logical reason there are mainly females? My breeding males are very beautiful and it is irritating to only get females any help appreciated Paul
  16. i went yesterday, dropped anchor half way between whakatane and whale island. caught 15 snapper and maybe 10 kahawai. all up was a wiked day and have a mean feed of fish
  17. when i went with some friends we saw thousands of them, were very easy to catch, they are fairly greeny/greyish and nothing exciting. But some have very nice finnage. I did see some white ones (possibly mutant albinos) were too hard to catch though. Was a very fun mission though

  24. as far as i can remember from school the albino gene is recessive (weaker) and the offspring will have both albino and normal genes but offspring will all come up normal (unless normal looking frog already has albino genes) then if you cross the young with albino parent you should in theory get a 50/50 mix of albinos and normal. Hopfully that is correct, was so long ago since i paid attention in biology
  25. na bro its there to help find new ones
