if i lived with lazy flatmates id move or get rid of them (if i was head tennant) moving house sux so id get rid of them. with the right advertising, trademe local paper etc its reasonably easy to find someone. and if you are the head tennant you have the option of choosing who gets the room(s). state the rules so to speak as you show the person round the house so they know what to expect. alot of people lie at this stage so sometimes hard to tell if someone is telling the truth or have a flat meeting and voice your concern, with everyone else there may have some luck nothings worse than coming home from a stressful day at work to a stressful home

i had a $60 one off trademe that worked.... had nothing to compare it too but worked for me, mainly for looks but had its moments, did pay for itself many times, just dont drive like an egg and save yourself money and petrol hahahaha

awesome photos, cant wait till cars legal and can take it on track update guys, track day will still be sun 23 aug, $100 entry and will be on the much better and technical track 2 so far 11 people confirmed racing, a mixture of cars will be awesome

ahh yes i see what you mean, similar to my blown light atm, it has a plastic guard on bottom of reflectors. what sort of price can i expect to pay for a single or double 4 foot light unit? the 2 foot single one was enough for me, im expecting a 4 foot single will suit me perfectly as the 2 foot light did not cover all the tank (obviously)

when moing tanks with water in it i found water sloshes around ALOT, not sure but i assume would stress the fish out alot. i placed a towel on top of tank and then lid on top of that if possible, helped reduce some of the water going everywhere

wasnt sure where this should go My 2 foot light blew yesterday, it was lighting for my 4 foot tank, i know wasnt really ideal but enabled me to see me fish, i have no plants or anything All i want is a basic 4 foot light that will sit on top of tank (it has a lid) anything anyone can recomend, how much can i expect to pay. the cheaper the better obiously, second hand is fine as long as it works

ive found males together to be no worries at all. i did see one breeders setup where there wouldve been at least 50 killies in a 2 footer of one species, all seemed to get along fine

havnt done any legal ones yet, still need to do few more things on starlet before taking it to a dragstrip. done plenty of stupid illegal ones back in the day, quite glad ive grown up somewhat and realised how dangerous etc they are.

will be very impressive thats what i would like to have, already under 900kg with all accessories and interior etc, however 300 hp is a bit of an ask from a 1300 motor almost 20 years old (is doable tho) just dont think its worth the cost, ill be happy with 200-250 horse at wheels from my setup

the more the merrier theres going to be a mix of almost standard street cars to full blown race cars

anyones allowed to come for a race. pretty sure this track day is adertised on toyspeed nzhondas and skylinesdownunder forums, so long as car passes basic scrutineering, just basic no skids, drifting etc and your not a .... hmm cant think of a word that wont get banned... so long as you have half a brain sweet as would love for some dirty ol V8's to come mix it up a bit :bounce: cars are definatly an expensive hobby, always some new part you HAVE to get. my car owes me many times more than its worth, no way will i ever get a fraction of it back but its my passion, ive done all the work myself and learnt tons. have no regrets what so ever. Im open to grudge matches :lol: ive never been on a track before so will be big learning experience for me and never been able to test my new setup properly, so long as car is legal in time i will be there racing i give hondas alot of flack but only for a laugh and friendly competition

i havnt been on a track yet, car has always had something wrong with it stopping me from going, hopfully not this time though

A track day is being organised by the starletcentral forum site one of the chicks from the site has booked track 3 on Sunday 23 August, anyone want to come? need cotten overalls and a helmet, fire extinguisher with metal brackets preffered but not essential, need wof and rego. also needs to pass basic scrutineering cost is dependant on numbers, maximum of $100 entry, could be as low as $50 if 40 people race. Will be on track 3 with cones added on home straight to make course more technical anyone welcome to come (except if your a muppet dont even bother) needs to be paid up by 30 July. So long as my car is legal i will be racing Paul

o yea wiked bro, what sort u lookn for? u after a 4x4 or just rwd? let me know when u get it i got heapsa tools and engine crane etc, all i needed to take engine and gearbox out of starlet, strip old motor completly put new betterer (its a secret) engine back into starlet. pretty sure ill be able to fit it all in my crusty daily

do a budget of your money that comes in against all your outgoings and cut back on all nessecities. what skills do you have, i used to do weekend relief milking and plucking possums for extra cash, can make good money if your prepared to work for it im on a good pay yet i was still broke a couple days after payday, done a budget and realised how much i was wasting. as wasting hundreds of my pay on alcohol, takeaways, and well....stuff. have woken up and in the last months have saved ALOT of money and have got my african tank setup full of fish and what not, am alot healthier and my good car is almost ready to go can even stop indulging in your hobbies etc
