Although I love the smilies I find that I am unable to use some of them because I do not fully understand their meaning. Does anyone else feel this is so? :dunno:
Southland sand and gravel have white silica but not black silica sand. I believe their is a company in Dunedin called Blackhead Quarries who have it but I cannot confirm this. Tel: 03 4879031
I have been trying to get rid of duckweed for about 7 years, it even followed me to Invercargill. Ira kindly gave me some riccia but I couldn't keep it alive. :dunno:
Both statements are true. Wonderworld in Rotorua in my opinion is the best shop in NZ. on Clayton Road I think. World of water in Hamilton ( TROPICAL BLUE ? ) is also held in high esteem.
I find the silica sand gets dirty very quickly and I have to turn it over at regular intervals, but it looks fabulous afterwards. I also notice the fish in that tank have paler colours.
