Now I know why my wife beat me with the squeegee for a month after we moved in. I must be getting better with age it used to take a longer than a month to get through my thick skull. :roll:

I was under the impression in order to breed EBJD you had to have 1 EBJD and 1 ordinary JD.

I think my longer skinny 3 Metre (550L)tank looks far better than either my shorter 700L or 950L tanks. A matter of taste I suppose.

They most definately are not the same company. they are seperate companies owned by Freightways who also own Casle parcels.co.nz/Sub60.co.nz/Now couriers.co.nz/Kiwi Express .co.nz/Security express.co.nz/DX mail.co.nz etc.etc. They also own companies in Australia.

They are not the same company but they are both owned by Freightways. They have always had a policy of not carrying live stock as per their carriage of goods. No freight company will accept liability if anything goes wrong.

If you saw them spawn then surely you would have already seen some eggs?

I change water straight from the tap and have done for 30 years and never had any problems as regarding chlorine. However it is not (imo) a good idea if you intend to breed. I think chlorine dissipates within 24 hrs.

According to liveaquaria.com : red turks are blue/red and checkerboards are green/red.

Just looking for a site which will give me the info so I can work out which plants to put in which tanks.

I suggest you use the liquid form and soak the food in this. ( it works for me and also works out cheaper ) The tablets when crushed have a tendency to float on the surface and remember when using tablets you have to treat all the water in the tank.

Any and all. Most sites will give difficulty and light requirements etc. However I cannot find a site that gives preferred temperatures.
