Mine was brown when brought it.I realy want a red one but mine turned green with a white rim.It to one week before i could see colour change and by 3 weeks it was glowing green.The pick is not very good as i am an engine reconditioner not a photographer.

PO4 = 0 PO3 = 1.5 PH = 8.2 KH = 9 TEMP= 26deg CAL = 460 MAG = 1260 SAL = 1.025 SKimmer removes about 600mls to 900mls a week.I used ASW a few times and had a large drop in MAG and CAL.Back to NSW all going good.

I dont about useing a spray bar in the sump but i did have alot of trouble with airated water going into my return pump from water turbulance and splashing.This caused fine air bubbles out my return into my tank making it look un clear.It took a lot of arranging to keep this from happening.Just somthing to keep in mind when setting up as it realy anoyed me.

I thinking we should buy a 8ft wide screen tv and put a coral reef dvd on in the place of tank to save money and time. Your tank looks diff to when i saw it a couple of months back you been too tooing again.Looks better.

I use panty hose in my power filter to hold the phos remover.I think it is nylon but arnt they all made out of the same stuff.

My new clam and finger leather.

I did the same thing and got my finger leather sucked up the end of my 40mm bottom sucker.Ever since then people say to me that is a different shape one over there.It looks like mangled cactus and it never fixed it self it just grew on from there.

Mine has got so fat i think he might get health problems.It does not eat any food i put in only alge in the tank.What about turning of your skimmer every second day to try and promote a bit of somthing to grow.

I had a huge problem about 9 months ago.I got a stanley knife blade and cut them out scraping the rock and the same time.They come out in one piece and you dont have to take the rocks out.I have no re growth as long as you get 99% off the rock.Cheap and affective + easy to do.

Sounds like it will be a great tank.The lighting could be a bit light but if only keeping fish strong light is not needed(tank dimensions will change lighting needed).Keep us posted on progress

Our local shop has got those rubber corals and they good for a laugh,The anenome is my fav.

I posted about this a while back.My mate did put to big sacks of rock out behind some island about 3 months ago.It is suspended under the surface of the ocean about 5 meters some how.They checked to see if still there last month.(it is).He is going to get it soon so it should be well cured.I will let you know the out come soon as i see it.

They form on the glass as if eating alge?.Have not see a trace of them since post. :-?They are in there secret under rock head quarters planning mass invasion

Sounds like you realy want one.I have discovered over the years that the rules dont always apply(sh#t) when it comes to what wont eat your coral or other fish etc.Just go and buy one. It is the only way you will find out for sure and i am almost 100% sure they will be fine mine were.

Last week i noticed white blobs stuck on the side and back walls of my tank.On friday just gone 2 of these blobs grew legs (6 legs and white) and on saturday morning all blobs legs and no legs have vanished.I have had little 5 legged ones before but my flag fin angel ate them which i do not have anymore.ARE THEY A PEST?.
