I am goin to have to get out more this sounds to good to be true.

Its the brown type.Its a frag off jetskisteve.There is a pic of his tank on here somewhere with it in and it is brown.

I poured it in my tank when i got back while it was still alive and it did nothing.WOW. :lol:

I got a frag of pumping xenia from steve and it was brown.It has now changed colour.It has now got an Slightly off white base with silver looking heads.Any one no what causes this.It also seems to be growing well and i dont put much food in as i have a nitrate problem. (self inflicted).I would post a pic but i cant seem to get them to work.Any help with that would be great.

Collected my water last friday 9.30pm.The water had thousands of little blue dots.As they broke the surface they look like LED lights.It made the water collecting a little bit more interesting as we had blue lights all over the trailer,our arm,the drums it was everywhere.Is this a seasonal thing or just luck.Looked amazing.

Niger triggers are great.It was one of my mates first fish.It loved using caves as its home. Very passive and good in community.

The branchs are ripped in half.It has long ones short ones and half ones.

I am down to my last one and its getting smaller by the day.I have done a lot of patient watching but still cant see the little b#*tard eating them.

I saw a web site of a reef tank with a copper band and the guy recons that it was the best fish he ever owned. It ate all the undesirables,he called it his doctor fish.Luck maybe?.

Whats the RC?.They are precular clowns.I also know some people with clark clowns that breed all the time.Unfortunitly they not interested in keeping them

from hatching to about 20mm

Anyone have any creative ideas for feeding chromis and clown fish young.

What do you build your racks with.

I just started changing from fish to a reef tank.I cant get any straight answers on lighting.My tank is 2100Lx1000Wx680H.I dont mind making them if anyone knows where to get the parts that work.From what i here they can be priced out of this world so i want to get it right the first time.Also do you need a light on your sump and if so why.It is in the wall so the back of it is in the garage under the clear lite roof so i leave the lid open during the day which seems to keep them going well , but a bit of a worry in winter.I like the crisp clear look with a blue tint which i have seen on the reef tank that turned me from fish only.Also what sort of benifit do these nitrate and calcium reactors have?do you need them?.I dont mind second hand,any help would be great. Hi everyone. I started about 8yrs ago with marine fish and got hooked instantly.Every day from that day forward i couldnt get enough.I cut a hole in my wall about 10 months ago and put in a reef tank system in and have been learning really fast.Tank and sump size is 1650 ltrs from having a 500 ltr. A bit of a shock to the system and the bank balance but i would never give it up.
