its so sad when fish die because of the stupid equipment we use to give them the best possible life. one of my eheim compact pumps sucked up my first clownfish :oops: and all of the cats eye snails ive ever put in there.

thanks suphew. (sorry about hijacking the thread :oops: ) tanks 4 foot, been going a year with 2 fluros (1 x white, 1 x blue) and im getting a bit sick of only having zoos. i have the option of getting a metal halide pendant, but thought it might be too much lighting for the corals im wanting.

what wattage fluros? how long etc, and what white to blue ratio? thanks for helping by the way

28.9 in tank, too bloody hot down here! have fans running, and lighting is only 2 floresents! poor zoos!

i used a roller to apply paint to the back of my tank, worked quite well. had to do about 3 coats. the colour looks alot different then i thought it would though as the blue bulb at the back of the tank has affected it. looks right with the lights off though!

is any super glue safe? or is there a special type?
