I was in LPS and saw a green leather.I have never seen one before does anyone know anything about them as i nearly got it.Still tempted.

I have helped sort out a troubled reef tank with a seaclone.After weeks of trying to get the thing to work the owner finaly showed it the bin.The ultimate waste of money.

I had both angels with my clams and had no problems.

Its fun in summer with a bucket but you cant beat jetski pump system for winter.Its very cold doin it chain gang style.

Bummer you just going to get another tank .

I got a price last month for a heat pump to do my tank because i had this problem last year.It was ONLY $4500.I was thinking if i got some orders we could buy in bulk and save :lol: .Yeh right.

yeh they are right i have removed sick fish before thinking it was the only way i would save them but it just increased the chance of death due to the stress and they are not that easy to catch as you would know.

Is it on the bench in the kitchen?.Sorry if i missed the location in previous post.

Sounds great .I cant bring anything to swap as you know but i can scavange the double ups 8) .I will be there.

I still think the worst is when you go to pick up a rock and a bristle worm stalk goes right up under your finger nail then snaps off the rock.then when you try and remove it it breaks in half.The dam things hurt for days and get all pussed up. :evil:

On a diff note nice couches.We were going to buy the same one.So how is it good and cumfy or a big pain in the a@#.We could not make our minds up.

I was lucky i managed to get some awsome blue coloured glass that a church canceled.Only down side was its thickness.17mm makes it hard to get cut and move looks cool but.

I have one that looks like ferns or even feathers with a green blue look which could be the light but looks cool if nothing else.Its probly a weed knowing my luck.

2nd Worst:Flatworms. Worst:Thinking i could kill the flat worms without stripping my tank.Ended totaly wiping it out. Best:buying a light that works. 2nd best:improving my water movment.

I got a yellow leather which i put about 250mm from the top of my tank.It took a little while to settle but it stayed very tight not pumping up.So i moved it to about 500mm from the top with mild current and now it is realy showing off.I have 250w MH.It did not like being waved around to much by the water movement.I noticed when happy and polyps are out the colour is awsome.Very bright yellow.

It sounds like the problem is in the part that contains the bubbles when the air tap is opened.If it does not make bubbles when tap is of that rules out cracks or air gaps to create air bubbles.It sounds like the airated water is getting to the water return instead of being contained.Are the bubbles coming out on the wrong angle maybe?, or a piece of plastic or pipe blowen out in his tank somewhere.Sounds like mind bender this one.

Had similar problem with my skimmer.It is not a deltec but it had an air leak causing a millon tiny air bubbles to cloud my tank.Took a bit of finding.

de ironizer.It is always best to filter your water if you can for piece of mind.Sounds like it is coming along ok.Try adding one hardy community fish.A chromis or damsel.Damsel can get a bit stroppy towards other fish so i would go for the chromis.

Shame .I Could see someone with 400 coke bottles rammed in a insulated box with umpteen dozen air lines coming out the side creating the biggest osama come back bomb ever seen.Upset the wrong person and you will know the whole armed defenders squad buy there first name.

Just think we were all lining up 2 buy it and now we cant give it away.It was the only thing that grew back after i had my wipe out.It started from tiny shred left behind.It took a long time to grow a head that you could see it was that small, but after that one head got pumpin,you know the rest.

I had one of these which grew very fast.I cut back on its feeding to slow its growing.This was ok at first but then a branch of xenia would vanish without a trace.They love meaty food.Fay has one she hand feeds and i dont think it has caused her any harm.Jetskisteve took his out because his snails started to go missing.You just cant trust them.

I have had many angels over the past 12 years and 99% of the time they will grow very fast when another fish is trying to be dominant.As soon as they get to a certain size they start to take over and can become quite pushy.I have tryed two types of large angel fish in the last 2 years in my reef tank.The first was a juv emperor angel which was fine for about 6 months.I knew better but i thought maybe this time he/she wont be like previous times.He /she took control and its second in comand and turned just as nasty was off all my fish,the purple tang.They were neat to watch,the purple tang would be like a mirror image and even eat at the same time.They gave each other back up so they thought they were invinsable.At feeding time the angel would eat out of my hand so the purple tang started to do the same.They would not let me put any more fish in my tank.It was tag team attack.This was ok as the two of them were amazing to watch and fearless.But then my angel decided to start eating my coral for no reason at all.I took the angle out and the purple tang turned it to a shy loner with a nasty streak.The second was a regal because they are not so aggressive and can be ok in a reef tank.(they say).Anyway it just ate my coral from the moment i put it in so i have given up finaly with my lesson well learnt.Good luck to you chim i hope it turns out good as they are a amazing fish.
