one way is to put a small container that the fish cant get in to but the snails can and place some fish food in there, pull out be fore the snail exit...
with whitespot, at least with natives we can dump in 6 or more g of salt per liter (over 24h) and and not have to too much (no excuse for no quarantine though).

It would have to be lightly stocked to work and inanga might not be the best choice as they like a bit of flow and like to school. Common bullies from a lake population might work.

I don't think Kuhli loaches are easy to breed, but I would love to hear others thoughts on this. I have another Pangio sp. that one looks gravid so I have hopes that they will breed (P. anguillaris).
