  1. Sweet (Where'd Pauly's post go?)
  2. Those new ones animates stocks? Comes on guys, this is getting a little off topic. We all know his tank needs a crashed plane and thats the end of that...
  3. Replace the carbon with a tightly packed bunch of filter wool. It should slow the flow
  4. SamH will teach you how not to do it

  6. I feed my L140 hikari algae wafers, the occasional JBL novo tab and courgette. I use shrimp pellets and novo tab as a staple diet for my L270. You can also use wardley algae wafers for the L140. In terms of confidence building, having lots of hiding spaces available helps. I feed mine 1-3 times a day, but only small amounts. Sometimes I wont feed them. I find a small night time feeding is more accepted than day time ones with my L140. But they should take food that your other fish don't eat
  7. You need to do it with the ones from bunnings also (i've bought both)
  8. You can get them for $35 on trade me. Thats what I did, also SamH did it. Just have to wire them yourself
  9. Remember you need the CO2 and the ferts also
  10. I love the one of the croc and the fish!
  11. Mainly cories and plecos. I've fed shrimp pellets, novo tab, novo pleco etc etc but was looking for a good bulk option. Might just go with a big packet of novo pleco for my L104/L140 and keep the meater stuff for the others. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Pets-animals/F ... 119138.htm Anybody use that? Seems too cheap to be any good for expensive fish I was also thinking about a DIY mainly vege based food for the plecs. Does anybody use something along those lines?
  12. That's why you just take my Honda integra 1992 box edition
  13. What bottom feeder food do people use? I found that I used my 82g packet of hikari algae wafers up in only two months. Is the 250g bag available anywhere? I cant seem to find it online in NZ. What decent food is available in large quantities? Thanks
  14. We all know that it would be a different story if Toyota was allowed to race
  15. My friends tank has the exact problem. Lots of poo, sand and not enough flow/mechanical filtration=dirty plants
  16. Good thing you have a girls name then :nilly:
