  1. Not even! Only bred one species And thanks to you and your hubby for the gravel  Wood from napier, gravel from taupo and rocks from the council, looking to be a NZ biotope?
  2. Thanks Hoping to add a few slate/bamboo caves as time goes on. Going to wait awhile before I add them.
  3. I've just bought 6x L140 off of David R. Awesome fish. One decent sized what looks to be male. For those of you that don't know what they are, http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/sp ... es_id=1392 I'm hoping to get them breeding. They're about to go into my (Well SamH's) 90x40x40. The tank is being ran by a 2000lph external sunsun, 100W aqua one heater, a fluval internal with no media and hidden under a massive rock pile for extra flow(the 1000lph one), another small internal with an air pump running in it for increased oxygen levels and a small HOB that will be removed soon as it was just to clear the water. The tank will probably have low light and I may add peat to the water. Thanks to David R for the fish and almost all of the driftwood Also thanks to SamH for the rocks  Feel free to tell me what i'm doing wrong

I get the whole secrecy thing, but you can at least say you own and breed BN and keep a few fancies
  5. I was told my 120x40x40 was too small for a nandus nandus  They are awesome fish. Get one!
  6. I love the colors and the moss I assume you are wanting fry?
  7. Anybody know any good clear videos of wild fish? Especially pleco? I love this vid !drool:
  8. They don't need much in the way of food. I've killed ancistrus from constipation  That could be the problem with your L260. What do you mean by 'bowes'?
  9. Have you been feeding them a lot? Constipation from high protein foods can cause problems. So can bad water from high feedings
  10. Are they cheap to buy/run? I may put one under a row of tanks that I need to set up but don't want to put heaters in
  11. How would one construct a heat pad?
  12. I have a small gap between a small tank shelf and under the work bench that I have seen lots of crickets head under. Seen a few decent sized ones and a few small ones in my fish room. May explain why that area is getting a certain pong
  13. I've seen racks set up with either those under gravel heating wires or a form of heating wire for reptiles
  14. Stones will do it. Probably want to feed him blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, axolotl pellets etc. Proper axolotl food. From what I know, sausage etc isn't that good for them
  15. You bred them, of course they are doing well
  16. I love it when they first hatch
  17. My ex girlfriends dad once made this spicy rice meal with chicken bits and chicken liver !drool: Her dads cooking is what I miss the most about her  I've thought about trying beef heart. Wouldn't really know what to do with it. The internet suggests grilling it though
  18. I always pH changing from 6.2 to 7.4 over a short period of time was bad? I've heard of many people have troubles because of it
