    I've got a 25kg back of that daltons builders sand which i've used with cories and had no problems, yours free, and i'll let you see the fish room :lol:

    They're like cheap clay balls if the plants get big enough :lol: Family friend of mine put some "Japanese rush" in a plant pot in their pond and over two years it ate half of it Loving the tank Joe!

    You seemed in a hurry! And it was a massive mess today as we put the gib up :nilly: The guppies are AWESOME. They're all chilling with my maccus. Going to thin it down to a solid trio for the breeding

    Insulation is all pre cut and ready to put in place :nilly: All tank spaces are ready and waiting for tanks and poly :nilly: Door is ready and waiting to be hung :nilly: (yes, its sideways, but thats because we carpeted the wall and bolted everything too it :lol: ) Standing at the other end of the fish room Stand thats being turned into a betta barracks

    I often find earwigs in my tanks :sick: Sometimes half eaten but they're supposedly quite septic creatures so I never put them in there intentionally. When my tanks were indoors I used to get a lot of moths at night. Would take the lid off, the moth would stun itself on the light and fall in the tank, free food :lol:

    It will. But its not a sudden decrease in pH, its slow as the tannins leak out

    I'll have a chat to him about it tomorrow. If that what we do, i'll just pull apart a 60x30x30 and make him put it back together

    He is already making containers so he can have a crack at the sump. The budget is limited to what I can fork out. Off the top of my head the sump is 70ish long 30ish wide and around 40 high. Also has to build a waterproof lid etc etc. Will get him to rethink his design tomorrow
