What size tank are they in and what fish? I don't have any experience in loaches but I have heard that they mow down snails shells and all. If you got some young clowns for clean up there are a few people around that are collecting schools of them so im sure it wouldnt be hard to rehome them once your tank was cleared. Just an idea..

very much so, I always thought Id want a Beardie, but I couldnt be happier with Yindi. I will get a beardie eventually too but I think Yindi will always be my favourite friend. Shes a little grumpy with me now as I just trimmed her claws, nothing that a good feed of her favourites wont fix though.

Hes a beautiful fish Stell and I think hes looking much better. Eyes look very bright and alert.

Very hard to get my assignments done for polytech when I have the cutest wee button in the world sharing the room with me. I keep looking at her and going "AWWW Yindi your sooo cute!" I felt bad for calling her out of the bag but I couldnt get anything done!

I haven't used mine in a while, I went to use it today and its blocked up, I can get any co2 or air through it. Is there any way I can clean it out? Light bleach dip or something like baking soda and vinegar? Its just a blown glass diffuser with a ceramic frit.

It is possible. Though the hose wasnt switched on, and I had flushed it before walking to the tank and dropping it in. And look at the video, that slug doesnt look like its drowning, it looks very much at home in the water. Its still alive, living in the substrate.

I went to drain my 4ft tank today, disturbed the gravel a bit. First the head came out then it crawled up the stem of the plant, I ran for the camera. Video is uploading now. The only information I can find is here

Hey and welcome!

7 tanks running at the moment. 1 fresh water native, 1 tropical marine. 1 38 ltr dwarf puffer tank, 1 50 ltr blue planet with breeding pair of bolivian rams, cardinal tetra and a half banded spiny eel. 1 guppy breeding tank. 4ft tank with 2 spiny eels, 2 synos, 2 mystis cats, 4 young bala, 3 discus, and random guppies, oh sterbai and trilineatus corydora too, plus a few whiptails and a baby geophagus surinamensis 8 ft tank with 1 massive cigar shark, 6 medium to large bala sharks, 3 ornate bichir all massive, 1 delhezi bichir, 3 senegal bichir, 3 geophagus surinamensis, 1 vermiculated syno, 3 port hoplo cats, 2 plecos and some surviving feeder guppies. Fry tanks go up and down as needed, I have 3x 60 ltr fish bins with different things in them, and a half drum outside for daphnia. Tonnes of containers everywhere with various lives foods. Future plans are a bank of 4x 4ft tanks, 1 for planted tropical fresh water, 1 for local marine. 1 for native freshwater and 1 for a grow out/quarantine. Turn the Marine nano into a cube and leave the rest of the smaller tanks for fry, although I am contemplating trying fighters again. I know if missed a fair bit out but thats the main stuff

Bertie is Bertha and massive, you thought she was a biggie back then I think shes holding too, looks very fat and the male is smelling around her a lot. I will get up early and try the battery in the truck. So I guess if I see you all at the commerce club before the tank crawl then everything worked out, if not I wish you all an awesome time, and the best of luck for the quiz night.

So was anyone heading over from this way? Good ol me left it far to late :roll: Perhaps I could squeeze some money out of the bank account and head over, as long as the truck is going (left the lights on all night last night)
