  1. have recently purchased a breeding pair of Geo's they have a nice big tank and if ive got it right the female (long flowy fins) keeps picking on the male (shorter fins) so sepereated them for a week and feed the male up on blood worms ox heart spiralina tablets and flake food and was full of beans again after introducing the female he went all shy again and hid in the corner.... i have a blue LED light set up to view in the dark and he comes out after a while fans about the place and gets put back in his place. im not sure that this is all right and beginning to think they arnt a breeding pair.she has made a complete mess of the tank up rooting plants moving substrate all over the show and her bottom fins have got realy realy long. they also keep a breeding pair of angles at the other end of the tank. hope some one can shed some light on these silly buggers and help with some infomation. thanks heaps
  2. they look just like the picture supplied of the bristole nose eggs. there all in one clump as aposed to the picture of kribs eggs. they could be bigger than 2mm .
  3. righty oh just purchased a few angles could or could not be breeding pair (one was fat) i put them in the tank with a few kribensis and male and female brislenose any way one of the angles disapeared and i heard it going to town behind a rock thinking it was stuck i lifted the rock to see a tone of eggs. so ive googled it but they all tend to look the same... :cofn: im thinking they are not the kribs as they looked to big for a little fish didnt think it would be the bristle nose been on a smooth rock or could the angle have droped them ? the eggs were bright orange and each egg is about 2mm and about 50-80 eggs help any body? cheers

    Eggs = Babies

    Just found my little Krib gaurding a little entry to a cave and on certain angles i can see lots of little eggs on the bottom of a rock. Is there any thing I need to do from now? I hadnt expected them to breed in my community tank. if only my rams would pair up now.

    Hi there i rescued a crown tail the other day from a friend that was going to flush :-? him because the other male got in his enclosure and beat him up now all his fins are shreaded and tatty. is there any chance of them growning back? if so what can i do to grow them back faster? he gets a mixture of betta food, blood worms and some discus food. sometimes i take the dark divder out and let them flare up against each other so he can stretch abit hope he can be fixed he would have looked the bees knees back in his day thank you
