Well I ended up taking over 500 pictures  I have now whittled it down to about 50 (I will post the best ones) First we went to mooloolaba to visit my mums friends for 3 days, and I went to underwater world (sounds more like a theme park than a aquarium  ) Then we went to surfers paradise and went to currumbin wildlife santurary (more pics ) and then to gold coast where we went to dreamworld/whitewater world and a place called aquarium warehouse/shop :-? which had a mega tank in it (something like 5mx2mx1.5m ) and lotsa fish (e.g AR-980 tanks with 200 tetras in one tank another with 100 clown loachs one with a seething mass of khulis, another with the bottom covered with small crays as feeder food and a few RC shrimp around the place (at least I think they were RC shrimp...) and then we left and the dust came.....  Now for the pics (underwater world first) Sea sponge awesome colour One of the 4 lion fish This thing was about 70cm round these were the shark eggs , there was one swimming around in it too it's in a globe so wasn't able to get a pic of it A baby wobbegong shark And the most awesomest thing in the whole world :D A cuttlefish !!!!!!!!!! 14. It's definitely not normal, It shouldn't happen often and I doubt it will happen to any of the others unless somnething was wrong with your water or she was bullied in some way that made her burst... sorry for your loss also
  15. I got him from the LPS today , he was sold as a golden zebra loach (botia histrionica), but im not quite sure he is now.... as his stripes seem really even :-? sorry about the pics, he was abit grumpy and was trying to jump/ wouldn't sit still (hence the nickname Mr Grumpy) I also would try get a look at him but the cave I specifically set up for loaches does not give very good visibility  , I also need to get him 3/4 friends
  16. Well they hatched When they layed the eggs I would of hazarded a guess of around 100-150 eggs but now there must be at least 350-400 babies in there All the black lines in there are the fry, I also did a WC soon after I took the pics
  17. I can see something.... can't tell if they're eggs or not :-? try and stick a container up under it and see if they come off or not, they usually attach to something, also goldfish eggs are more of a whitey cream colour HTH
