  5. Our cat ate 6/7 of our big orandas before we figured out what was eating them  , we finally figured it out after we found her in the moring with a still live one in her mouth     Another thing to be wary of is if they start spawning in the shallows of your ponds as they seem to be a lot easier for cats to catch then
  6.  I'm liking the look of that shrimp that you get at level 16 and since when are goldfish and bettas saltwater fish Farmtown gets kind boring once you have to plow and plant 949 fields (and have 400k in the bank  ) but i do like my big barn........
  7. What about Hot Roast???  our luck with baby chickens has so far ended up with a lot of boys
  8. I was planning on some denser plants to help with the fry survival rate I was thinking a fine sponge on the end of a HOB filter for mechanical filter and then filled up as much as possible with some porous rock or ceramic rings then again i might go and check out the LFS for a cheaper 50ish L all in one setup I'm thinking i'll get it all set up and running and see how it looks before adding any other fish...
  9. Ember Tetras are awesome :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: , you should stick glowlight or lemon tetras in there or some rasboras.... glowlights or harlequins.... neons, cardinals, barbs..... danios... (enough ideas yet ) :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: I recon you should stick a school of 15 instead of 10 as well (if its a 2ft tank that is.... Maybe even threadfin rainbows
  10. My little sister has asked my dad if she can set up a tank, and as im the fish person i get some kind of influence in the matter... (as i'll be the who will be doing most of the work on it) I've been showing her alot of different fish and shes kind of fallen in love with Clown Killies (Pseudepiplatys Annulatus) so I have done a bit of researching and am planning a 60L x30W x30/5H tank Permanent with a well fitting lid, probably Med-Well planted with Crypts, water sprite, steam plants, java fern/moss, anubias, ect and a BN This will also be my first experience with killies so any tips will be helpful Also what kind of filter system would be best I have a HOB filter that could make a good mechanical/Biological filter.....

  12. Is that all the plants your're going to have in there , and i think your polysperma needs a trim..... but its looking good
  13. No C02 but i do does flourish and as soon as i get my PMDD ill be dosing that as well (but the rest is a secret ) are you sure??? they're fine enough that when the fish go swim through the bubbles they get covered in them....
  14. front view side view the bubbles go down then float up about halfway the width of the tank and each bubble is under 1mm Was that the effect you were looking for??

OMG ROFLOL my stomach is sore now >.
  16. +1 lol its soooooooooo predictable just to prove my point I bet you that (googles name of guy) Van will walk though the door and say high just as the guy is pulling the trigger and turns round and shoots him
  17. If you have a spraybar with your filter, lower it so has a skin of water on the very bottom of it and aim it back towards the glass so it is at a 30-45 degree angle downwards i have mine like that for my gouramis and it also creates a fine mist that goes down in the water and eventually floats back up again, you're gonna havr to wait for a pic though (if i can get one ) as im aclimatising some fish atm and the water levels gone up EDIT: The camera is taking really dark pictures so you cant see the bubbles :-? then if you use the flash the bubbles dont come out at all.......
  18. Sounds right, but you might be better off getting a bigger bucket or something, maybe do it instead of a WC, just to make it not quite as heavy (i.e full 2 buckets up, empty most of the water out, move, fill back up with buckets, stick fish in, fill back up with 9lter bucket every 30min or so )
  19. The temp is fine, If they have not hatched by tomorrow they will def be infertile or you have water problems which are making the eggs not hatch/ infertile, but most likely the 1st one
