They do get a little bit bigger though... Personally I like glowlights the best but it doesn't really matter as long as you are happy with whatever tetra you get (and 7 is a school )

Well the next girl decided to drop her fry this morning just as i was going to school :roll: I ended up catching around 10 with a few more swimming round in the tax hiding err So how do you tell when the female is about to drop :lol: I have no idea :roll:

My two girlies seem to love digging holes in whatever the material (they have managed to reland scape with 1cm stones ) and then they sit in it :lol: their biggest hole to date was 5cm long 3cm deep and 3ish cm wide I doubt its a sign of anything but does anyone elses do this???

What type of fish food are you using(flake/pellets) I seem to get this problem every now and then with the nutrafin flakes it's not attractive but i don't think it hurts also how big are the tanks??

As of 2mins ago I have caught the massive total of 4 ninja fry I net them first then, w/o bringing the net out of the water slowly persuade them into a cup also good luck with your overflow system

We're doing Acids & Bases in science atm and as I was flicking through the book reading interesting things(for me) I came across this equation Acid + A Carbonate = A salt + Water + Co2 In other words: Vinegar + limestone or marble= Co2 (YAY!!!!!) :bounce: (Acid) (Carbonate) How long do you reckon a limestone/marble chip last for? (e.g 1cm cubed peice would last 24hrs in 250ml of Vinegar) And yes baking soda is a carbonate and I also wish I had thought of this for science fair

True they are big tanks and half the time someone sticks them in with fish they dont get along with, e.g Angels >.< (so they only have half a tail ) But they do get some v. nice ones in every now and then and there are good hiders when they want to be :lol:

I dont think that there is any cleaner fish that could live in there apart from otos, but they live in groups so you might be stick to that MTS of yours
