  1. (baby is almost all eye )
  2. The 620T might struggle to hold an adult pair of discus. They would pretty much be able to move up and down, and that's about it.
  3. Alan, you can get glass one way valves off ebay for a fraction of that. If you don't want to use ebay let me know and ill get you one, and get it sent to you like I did Adrienne's diffusers.
  4. Not a problem at all actually. It isn't that hot at all. The more powerful ones produce a lot of heat. My Dual 400W marine ones needed a heatsink and fans.
  5. nah. not at all! Actually cheaper (only just) to use my 70W MH than to use the 36Wx2 T5HO. Results are great, but with the MH I get my beloved ripples.
  6. Best to be safe than sorry He hops around the table visiting as many people as he can leaving little presents on each one!
  7. They are good lights. I've used them to grow glosso too. But now I use a MH
  8. Do IT! That's a great price! Filter is easy enough to remove, and the lights on the tank are great for the plants you already have. It'll be properly planted if you let the lights do their job too!
  9. From my house! I have been cabnitised April this year.
  10. Ah great. I hope the repens does well for you. Go with one schooling fish, more cardinals will be great. As the uruguaensis grows you can transfer it to the back, but repens grows and branches out a lot too and likes forming a canopy so that could also be another option for plants at the back.
  11. shhh! I had had a fair few vodkas by that stage.
  12. and the mute function does not work.
  13. Let me know the next time you breed them. I can put them with my babies and let the grow in there.
  14. Welcome! Your tanks sound really nice. Enjoy your time here, and please post pictures of your tanks, fish (and plants!) as well!
  15. The last time we checked, it was about 50-50 for those people that responded to the question. Maybe a poll is in order?
  16. Congrats! Keep us updated on how it progresses.

  18. Yeah they are compatible with each other, but only the Royal whiptails will get large enough. They do take quite a while to get big though.
