Its just boiling helps the vegetables sink and makes them softer for the plecos to eat.

Must be weird for her going through all the changes in fishkeeping practices and equipment. Thats one amazing fish, I would love to see her.

Maybe try hiding the pleco tabs in a cave were the gouramie cant get to? Easier than steaming the corgette all the time. Good work on getting the BNs to breed too.

Golden I dont think theres such thing as an albino severum yet. Acording to Mr G oogle, gold and green are the main varietys but I beleive there may be another variety. red finned maybe? And I assume that you mean heros severum and not another type of severum as it the most common type. This may be completly unrelated but From searching google I found What appears to be a Independent rock from Georgia band named Heros Severum. :lol:

Do you think it would be a good idea to create a sticky with photos and quick information to help indentify different diseases and how to cure them. Things like what is ich and which meds cure it and the difference between tail rot and plain fin nipping. Also just general advice like not to overdose, remove carbon from filter and water changes are useful would be helpful. Im sure this would be a huge help to all the beginners who dont know whats wrong with their fish. Does anyone have any good pics of diseases? What are some good tips for dealing with each disease? I have a feeling that someone has already done an article in Aquarium world on this :lol: , but it would still be good to have one here.
