I have a no pets policy as well but its more to set things straight from the start. Its mainly so there are no dogs as to be honset they stink as much as smokers when they leave the flat. Just be honest with the Landlord and ask, that way your being straight up from the start

good lesson here though poor student saving heaps to buy a phone paying the best part of $300 for it Student = learning did you really need a $300 phone when you can buy brand new phone for under $100? yea the $100 phone wont break dance and take photos that are too small to see anyway but when I was young, phones were for phoning people and talking. Im not trying to give you a hard time and I honestly feel sorry for you but did you really need a $300 when you say that money is hard to come by? My phone is worth $500 but as I have 4 phones (for my wife and the 2 vans at work), telecom gives us new ones every 2 or 3 years. I have a camera for taking photos and a phone for talking on. Nothos like the stienforti, guntheri, etc are easy to breed but because of the incubation times (drying peat for 3 months) they are not quite as exciting as the mop spawners to begin with. Just think though, having some dried up old dirt, wetting it and having fry appare

The Dagetis are great beginner fish as are most of the mop spawners Australi, Gardneri..all nice and easy to breed but I suggest you join the club as well

I ordered 30 sponge filters last November (weighted ones) and although I went in a few times since, I have neverrecieved them or been told he cant be bothered. I now deal where I can get what I want and if I cant I break my own rule and look overseas. I dont like doing that as I belive in supporting the local people first but find the service better Fishandchips, Why not contact say an Christchurch shop and ask if they can ship? You may find it comes straight from the wholesaler

Spidersweb I use it whenever I suspect any fungus type of thing and as mentioned put 1 tsp in a 600 x 300 x 300 tank. That makes the tank very blue but any problems are fixed within 12 hours. I then find that the blue dissappares over the next week although I will often do 2 20% water changes in that time. I have never nothiced any staining though but I have bear bottom tanks with oly fish, java moss and floating plants

try tipping some Meth Blue in the tank I would use a tsp to a tank 600 x 300 x 300

not for a couple of months Im afraid but keep that in mind
