  7. so would you consider winding down the window and calling "MMAAAAAAWWWW! " (Very similar to a sheep/cow in anger..) normal and fullfilling even if you did know them.? I suppose you could have gone back and said "at times I just feel the need to act like an animal"

I suggest that you just raise say 20 or something like that At times you can get 10 to 20 eggs in a day but you can also go for 2 or 3 weeks without an egg

    Breeding killies

Im not sure to be honest but if you join the Killi club, they will have a list with members around your area that may be able to help If your a member of another club the cost is only about $15

    Breeding killies

you simply pick them off the mops with your fingers and place them in tank water with a drop of Meth Blue in it to help stop fungussing I use a screw top container from Foodtown thats about 25 to 30 mm deep and about 100mm in dia. I fill half fill with water and float it on the tank

    Breeding killies

Do they breed best in trios or pairs? I breed them with pairs, trios and at times more. Some in the USA say that pairs are best as the spare females dont follow the spawning female through the mops and eat the eggs as they lay. Use thick mops and that will make it harder for the hungry ones to follow. whats the best thing to make a mop out of? make it out of synthetic wool... not natural wool as it will rot. Dont be supprised if the dye comes out but it dosnt seem to harm the fish Also would an 11 litre with a sponge filter be ok? yes
  12. I buy the English ones that come with a 5 year garentee... cost more but out of about 25 heaters, the only failure I have had was when my daughter broke it while catching fish
  13. are the Bia's what you thought they would be? Ive just hatched out another 17
  14. Nothobranchius Steinforti Peat Spawners Do you know how to breed them all? The Scheeli will darken in colour over the next while... they have been living in a very light tank but my main breeders are in a very dark tank and are so dark green that I cant tank them for a walk on the lawn in case they get off their leash... I would never find them
  15. and did you buy a spare heater?

    Acrylic tanks

as a glass merchant, we love people that use plastics as they will only use it once If you want to stoop that low, look in the yellow pages under plastic/acrylic suppliers/wholesalers
  17. Zev The Australe were almost full grown so the Lineatus would need to be huge... over 75mm at least. I keep them together in my lounge tank The dageti wont get big enough
  18. 6 specie... only another 16 to go to catch me eh The Eggersi will need a bit of salt in the water and make sure your taking eggs from them as soon as possible Feel free to ask any questions
  19. Plants are weeds and only there for fish to feed on and hide in  Sorry, cant help (as far as plants go) as you can see by the above comment

    Killie tank

some are water incubated and take 10 to 14 days to hatch Just depends on what you want to get Best idea is to see what you want and then we can help more The peat spawners in general are the fish your refering to
  21. some shops are not interested in buying/obtaining from you and if thats the case support those that are as they are the ones that will take your surplus. I have 2 shops that often phone me for fish and will often phone me for advise on what I breed... I welcome that

just put your hand on aloy joinery and feel the cold... watch the damp on them Aloy joinery was indroduced as a cheap alternative to timber and its often half price. It does not last as long and if damaged or alterations are done, they often can-not be matched
