Cic7 Try placing the eggs on peat fro about 2 to 3 weeks then put the peat into water and see what happens...Did you get the latest news letter? if so, just follow those instructions (for all but the Steinys)

Ive spoken to Lynn and she did not send the emails... as suspected her account or email ID has been hacked. I see she has joined and I suspect shes seeing what she can do about it. She was wondering why she was recieving all this unusual email back from people

the ID of the sender is often not the person that has sent the email I have had a email address of mine stolen and use for sending out advertisment for male enhancements and I did not send the emails... it was discribed to me as "your email has been stolen" by 2 seperate computer people... what did I do with the 200 to 300 replies I was getting daily, I altered the email adress and although they may well be still using that email, I dont get the replies. Lynn at Tough Tanks (in Valley Rd Henderson) may or may not be sending them... I simply dont know but there is a very good lesson to those that forward jokes and similar on... delete the email addresses. Copy and paste as that way, the email lists dont exist and the spammers dont have a huge data bank of email addresses I have found Lynn to be fair and a reasonable person so would be a bit supprised if she was forwarding these to strangers

be aware that if you ask for a quote, the person giving the quote needs to build everything into it as people in general will not pay more. The quote contains costs for things that may possibly not be needed but as mentioned, if the job does need need these "things" the customer wont want to pay and will say ÿou should have quoted for it" If I am asked for a quote, it is ALWAYS more than if the asked for a guesstimate. The cheapest way is to tell me to go ahead and do the job. That way because Im being trusted, I feel the need to to the best job I can for the cheapest cost. I simply prefer to give a quote because I will make a lot more from the job Just something to think about

you may well be hopefull of getting 2 trios but not from me as I cant spare 2 trios. Ive just sent a few to members and they get first choice and lets face it, the cost of $15 membership is cheap (if your a member of another club) Yes BN will eat the eggs 22 to 25 cel is fine but they wont breed for a while as they are young

arround 2 weeks depending on conditions. The Blues are not too bad for eating their fry and I always have a few coming on with the parents. The eggs are about 1.5 mm in Dia

I find that with a lot of Killis(not peat spawners) that they stop laying eggs once the Ph gets below 6 and I normally raise it by running an external filter with Oyster shell grit in it for about 12 hours

Is there anyone out there breeding Killis that is not a member and has the same specie for a while? I ask this to see if any of the breeds that were around a few years ago and have now been lost to the club are still in "private" hands. If there is, could you let me know please either by PM or in this thread Thanks I belive I have already found one breed
