Looks like this guy is long finned. I have never seen any longfinned golden rams in nz. And he is a great specimen.

Hi Thanks for the replys After reading what some of you say. I think i shall look into getting a bigger co2 bottle sourced locally that will at least last about 10 months. But the challenge will be to find a suitable bottle that is not too big or too small as it needs to go inside the stand and cannot sit beside it as there are close walls on all three sides. Thanks

I have it in my main tank and i assure you it does not easily get sucked up. Also the gravel looks like Dark black, but under light it is grey coloured quartz with white flecks going through the grains. Very nice, and a good buy. Thanks

Hi Usually when the eggs go white in a few hours it is a sign that they are infertile. There is usually no fungus on the outside until the egg starts to break down, and bacteria sets in. It could also be that the eggs had no airflow over them as they need constant movement across the eggs. But if it was this you would have fungus on the outside as well . I would wait for a day if there is fungus on the outside you should remove them. Meth Blue also helps prevent fungus on cory eggs, i have tried this many times and it does work. If this was their first spawn this is what normally happens with young cory. But after they get some practice you'll get hundreds of eggs.

I never knew that this was possible and had never heard of this happening, just probably she just had too many eggs. But the bristlenose had a feast on the eggs. After about 3 hrs there was no eggs left.

Something weird just happened today. I use to have 4 Breeding Cories , 2 male and 2 female. Unfortunately 3 of them jumped out of the tank 1 day when it was accidently left open and they died. I was left with 1 female and have had her alone for only 1 month now with a albino bn breeding pair. But strangely today while i came to feed the fish, i saw her spawning and laying eggs everywhere but obviously they were infertile I thought it was impossible without a male to make the female spawn. Was it just that she was too full of eggs?

thanks for all the replys yeah looking at the price i think ill just buy a normal caninister filter in the normal 100 -300 range. If in the future it gets cheaper ill buy it but for now a cheap one will do me good

how much is it and is it worth buying, heard alot about it whats so unique

Also i had a question if i add dolomite gravel and jbl aqua basis woud it be a good match.

As you amy have read i am resetting my tank. i was just wondering if i add daltons aquatic mixx will it mix into the gravel and what type of lighting woud i need i have 3 tube holders thanks
