Do they have enough room to nicely get out on both ends? When I put a pipe in, I (by accident) made it impossible for mine to get out, when I moved it he liked it and now goes in the full way! I wouldn't worry about them going back wards What type of pipe is it? I used a 4inch piping that you put on the side of the house

I name most of my fish :oops: I pick names from tv progs and books that I like. I don't eat fish because I own them. That goes with every animal I own. So if I owned chickens, I wouldn't eat chickens. Thats why I'd never own chickens! lol.

No I don't have a base - cos I let the dad look after them. Yeah I think its better cos the chances of the eggs floating out on the current of the water is much less

Well, today when I got up (at 10.30 :oops: )I noticed that both of my GBas were in their cave! couple of hours later they were still there together (noticed that females dorsal fin was cut - breeding?) And a few hours after that I now see eggs . The male is there by himself now so fingers crossed 8)

I got mine today, srange if wainui hasn't got theirs yet...

around 5cm if they are male they will start to grow their bristles

I used to look after all the mice my cats brought in, but everytime it would be dead by the next day. it will be interesting if your sparrow survives fingers crossed
