About 4 yrs ago, I wanted to put christmas lights around my tank, as i didn't have a light on it at the time. My mum even brought me some lights to put around the tank, but then we read they warnings and i think it said not to put near water, so i just strung them up on my wall and they're still there

I sometimes see my GBAs cleaning the heater and i see no bad effects at all. But my heater is set lower than yours. Not sure if it stops burns but you can get black heater protectors (not sure what they are called) which stops big fish from biting the heater.

I travelled to tasmania from melbourne on a boat. So that night cos of the rocking of the sea I dreamt i was swimming with fish :lol: All i remember was they were bigish fish.

I'm not broke for christmas cos i buy cheap stuff And me and my sister go halfs on presents for our parents to make it even cheaper (and that way she doesn't have to think of what to get them, but still getting the credit...) And I buy the presents a couple of months in advance, $20 won't dent the bank too badly once a month, but if i buy them all at once $60 could dent the bank (i can't save money to save myself)

When we were with the cheetahs, it was in the baboons enclosure (they took the baboon out) And the cheetahs hadn't been in there for a while so it would have scared them too much to have strangers touching them. So we didn't get to touch them. But for me, i wouldn't want to touch the cheetah if he wasn't ok with it. It was funny, as we were walking back to their enclosure, Anubis flopped down on the ground and Osiris walked into the mens toilet! which was perfect cos he's a man (he muct be able to read :lol: ) After Osiris came out of the toilet: Me with Anubis:

I came back form my holiday to Auckland a couple of days ago. Its was a really cool trip. I did a Zoom tour at the zoo, getting to meet the cheetahs was fantastic as they were let loose in the enclousure with us I also got to see the new tiger cubs And i went to Butterfly Creek. The tanks were really impressive and the butterflies were fantastic too. But the bright blue ones refused to sit still for a photo :evil: But there was no arowana in the 11 meter tank And a Kelly Tarltons there were 2 very small baby penguins under 2 mothers :bounce: :bounce: Very awesome to see. And there were about 8 carpet shark egg capsules in a tank. And 3 newly hatched babys. The older sharks still in the caspules were moving! it was so cool to see! I didn't do anything, but my sister and her friends did some funny pranks My school had one building with 5 floors, my sister got some caution tape and taped off the 5th floor, so ppl who had walked the whole way up had to go and find a new way to get to their class :lol: Then She went down to a class on the first floor and wrote on the white board " The class is on the 5th floor today" So they all walked up to the 5th floor :lol: :lol: Then, in a class on the 5th floor she wrote for them to go to the 1st floor for class :lol: :lol: :lol: I bet the ppl were annoyed...

I still have lots of them, but i'm going on holiday in a couple of days so i'll see how many survive (my mum is going to clean them out twice in 6 days) They've got dorsal fins now But they don't seem to be growing fast - are they a slow growing fish??

Google search "christchurch map" Then theres a pic of a map where you can simply type the addresses of the place that your looking for and where your staying. It can tell you how far the places are. That way you don't even need to look for a street on a map 8)

There are 25w heaters at hutt pets too. I think they're less than $20. Jebo brand & are 21cm long

Yeah, i'll have to d get her to do that then Once i forgot to tell her to feed the fish (i was away for 1 night) and came back to a couple of dead fish and lots of food floating :evil: So i thought that if i have every thing portioned out things can't go too wrong... And if she over feeds the baby cories she'll have to clean their container out more often

I'm going away for 6 days in a couple of weeks and leaving mum to feed the fish I'm feeding my baby corys decap BS thats soacked in water first. But can i put some water in a container with the deacp BS the day before i leave and she still use it 6 days later? Or would it go bad? I could leave the container next to a tank light to keep the water warm
