  1. Sorry, only just saw this. To be honest I have no idea. More than they are worth I would assume.
  2. Yeah I can confirm Whittakers do a caramel one. I've bought it before myself. They also do a DARK chocolate caramel one.
  3. I have 2 AR380s lying around if anyone wants them
  4. Awwwww. I went "awwwwww" at every pic. Especially the panda and malamute. Not so much for the human babies.. sorry.. babies just don't really do it for me. About the only baby that could make me go aww is my one of cousin's babies. This one is kinda cute too hehehe
  5. When was your last water change? What are the tank water parameters?
  6. So whats the deal with this 2 Degrees? I have a Vodafone prepay phone and I can get one of their sim cards and just insert it in to my phone. But will it give me better coverage? Cos thats my main concern at the moment. We live in Otautau, and there are only certain areas of our house such as in the bathroom, near the mantlepiece or bookcase in the lounge, or sometimes above the fridge in the kitchen where we can get reception. Yet 2 km down the road reception is great. And no, I don't want to switch to Telecom. If thats my only other option for better reception then I'll keep my patch reception from Vodafone thanks.
  7. Just check that freeview HD is available in your area.
  8. Oh well then, for future reference: Golden Zebra would be Botia Histronica Clown is Chromobotia Macracanthus Candystripe is Botia Striata Koolie is Pangio Kuhlii Polka Dot is Botia Kubotai (I had to google that one cos I'd never heard of polka dot loach! very cool) Nice BGK too
  9. awesome! How many other types of loach do you have? I see striata and... histronica?
  10. I just recently read in a book saying thats not true. Apparently a popular misconception which has been spread for the best of reasons - bird protection.
  11. I agree with you too Sam. I was bought up on video games, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil and the like. And do enjoy a good bloody rampage through the streets of GTA but you don't see me bringing it into real life. Personally I think its a combination of mental instability and bad parenting.
  12. The SPCA is the only charity I support. I often make a small food donations to the local SPCA, but thing I could be doing more. I know you can arrange to have make monthly automatic donations.. think I might look in to this further.
  13. That is just disgusting! 32 birds! [insert long string of expletives here] I've said it before and I'll say it again. People who deliberately do this to animals should suffer the same fate as their victims. I read a story in the paper yesterday about two young idiots who cut the ears and tail off a pig then turned it loose into the bush. Poor pig was a family pet. Fortunately it was found and returned to the family and had its injuries treated. Why in the hell do people think its ok to do this?
  14. but turklet or turkling sounds so much cuter than poult...
  15. What kind algae is it? I'm no expert on treating algae but I believe the different types of algae require different methods of treatment, therefore it would be a good idea to identify the type of algae before treating? You could always try convincing them to try blacking it out again. Sure it might not look very good for a restaurant but I'm sure the customers would understand, perhaps they could put a little sign on the tank stating the reason for the blackout. And its not like its going to be forever.
  16. Oh I want one too! So cute! Last year a workmate thought she had a pregnant female hedgehog living in her garage. She was gonna capture it and get me a baby, but that didn't eventuate as the hedgehog disappeared and never came back.
  17. Many rrrrrrrrrr's ima southlanderrrrrrr  Thanks for the tip 8)
