I've been thinking about properly planting my tank. It has plants of all sorts at the moment which are growing fine but they grow where they want to grow, not where I put them! I have some twisted val that took a long time to come away. I originally planted behind the driftwood, as a sort of background plant but somehow its migrated to the front. And its now quite tall, suppose I could cut it. But I don't want to cos its all twisty & pretty.. Oh I also have some sort of dwarf sag? too that is slowly creeping its way around the tank.
As for the other plants, no idea what they are (LFS doesn't label them) but they are broad leaved plants so have suffered greatly at the hands (or mouths rather!) of the bristlenoses. These plants are mostly stalks all the way up as the bristlenoses have eated all the leaves off.
Its like a jungle really.
So my question is what are some fine leaved plants that bristlenoses won't eat, and don't require good lighting??
