Errrrr.... not sure. No I don't think so. We have an ASDL modem (D-link?) and bought a Belkin Wireless router thingy, because originally when we got the broadband it was just on the desktop. Then to get wireless we had to get the Belkin router which we purchased ourselves. In any case both pieces of hardware are over a year old.

Play it like we play it with new clothes or shoes? "Oh these are old. I've had them for ages!" "Oh, this tank? I've had it for ages, always been there". :lol:

Only one phone in the house and its connected to a filter. I visited the vodafone website and have a little test thingy that I gotta do when I get home. Then I have to call them. I'm not a scream and shout till I get my way kind of customer so it would be relatively easy for them to fob me off.. thats why I haven't called them yet. I'm more passive - cancel account suddenly and bad mouth them at every chance I get kind of customer :lol: .

Resurrecting this thread... my broadband is super duper lame! I take it that is infact bad? Comparing it with the results others got it seems very much so. why?!!? Its only started going slow in the past month or so.. before that it was good. Its like being back on dial up again.

I don't think so. It was a minor injury, not worth the hassle that claiming on ACC seems to be. I coped just fine without it. I bet there are hundreds of people who really don't need it either, but they are just milking the system and making things worse for the honest people of this country.

I heard that this morning too.. and tacking on another $100 on normal private vehicle registration!!! This is going to do wonders for the environment. You know, emissions and all that. With all the motorcycle users giving up their motorcycles in favour of cars, simply because its cheaper to register. What can I claim ACC on? I need to claim back some of the $$ I've been paying into it and never claimed on even when I was entitled. :evil:

Oh yeah. I bought like 60 odd exotic ones (the blue & red ones that look like bettas) came back later that night and they were fine. Somehow I'd had fish added, a clownfish looking one, and a yellow & black one and a blue & yellow one. No idea where they came from but that was cool. Fed them, came back next morning all my betta looking ones are dead. Other ones aren't. Miffed. Didn't feed them, came back that night and the rest were all deaded too Someone needs to tell the game makers that fish CAN survive more than one day without being fed. :evil:

I was.. I prefer Fish World though. Its a little more realistic.

I saw some in the weekend, about the size of my palm I reckon... maybe a bit bigger. Very cool fish though. So yeah.. big tank required.

Awww.. sounds like you did all you could. At least he died comfortably in warm snuggly towel, knowing that someone cared. So many animals aren't as lucky.

What? They have to be able to prove it is faulty goods. Have they done that? Also is your carpet direct stuck? If so its probably counted as part of the building, hence them not covering it under your contents policy.

Nice to meet you Caryl & Grant, as well as the rest of the club members present. I was quite impressed with all the tanks. Rodney even said to me after we got home "Sorry honey but their tanks make yours look like poop". :lol: I didn't take offence at all. I've had a quick look at Rodney's photos, he's got some good ones of the large goldfish. He'll have a play around with the photos and let me know when he's done so we can upload some. Awww Its always hard when you lose a favourite fish. Sorry for your loss. On the bright side at least he died of old age. Many fish don't!

I know. The thing that always bugs me is things happen so fast.. its like.. "Oh I had a beer, now I'm an alcoholic!" "oooh I just took some drugs and now need to go to rehab" "Oh noes, I've just been diagnosed with cancer and only have like three months to live.. oh look I only lived a week " And the rate at which kids grow up. Streuth! Watch it, Rachel & Tony's baby will be like 4 next week. And still I keep coming back. And is it wrong that I want Nicole & Sid to get together?? lol
