Can we have some clarification on the correct dosage for e-mycin? I've read some posts that say one dose @ one 400mg tab per 100 litres. Others say continue dosing for seven days. Read another post that said just over half a 400mg tab per 100 litres. Thanks

I'm looking for a new cellphone to replace my Motorola V360. Silly husband has lost his cellphone and instead of getting him a new one I want to give him my V360 and get a new one for myself. I was looking at the Vodafone 541, mainly because its half price at the moment at $149.00. Does anyone have one of these? I don't use my phone all that often, mostly for txting taking photos and sometimes browsing the internet, so looking at spending under $300. It must have a micro SD card slot, USB connection so I can connect it to my laptop and be able to play MP3s as ringtones. Perhaps any other suggestions?

I was wanting to find some snails for my loaches to eat. I know I've seen snails in local rivers, lakes or ponds but I can't remember where exactly. Are these kinds of snails that are found in fresh rivers etc ok to feed to loaches and where abouts would I look for them? I went down to the Aparima River today and had a look around but couldn't find any. I looked in slow moving waters, little puddles (saw some fry of some description!) and the faster moving waters.. picked up rocks etc...

Yes.... I know that. Turns out droncit didn't work anyway. Well it seemed to, either that or it was the increased feeding the loach got fatter, but then suddenly died so... *shrugs*

I don't just feed bloodworm, they get Wardley Shrimp Pellets, JBL Novo Pleco Chips or Tetramin flake food. Let us know how you get on Si. I tried to buy that Avivarim stuff and was told that it was not the right thing to use and was sold Drontal instead. Which according to people on here is also the wrong stuff because it has more than just praziquantel in it. :evil: Guess my first mistake was telling them what it was for. Where did you get yours?

Oh no! I have 6 zebra loaches now, 2 are exhibiting the similar signs which the others had before they got real skinny & died. Grrr wish I could figure out what this is. I'm now religiously feeding them every day, and making sure I feed bloodworm every second day. Let us know how you get on with yours.

Keep changing the water regularly until you have nil nitrite and low level nitrate. Say.. 50% water changes daily perhaps. And keep testing to monitor the levels of nitrite and nitrate.
