I would take the limestone out, I had a piece in a tank and it made the ph shoot up to over 8. Do not do a massive water change either, the rapid fluctuations in ph could be detrimental to the fish.

Aww.... look at the little thing! Interestingly, looking at the bottom of your tank, one of the local fishkeepers here could only keep Sterbai fry alive when kept in a tank where the bottom was thick with apple snail poo!
