  1. What sort of tubes does it have in it, it should be written near one end, and how many of them in the fitting? What are the dimensions of you tank, especially the height. Do you want this primarily for plants with some complementary fish chucked in for looks, or are do you have your heart set on a certain type of fish? Do you want to be setting up a high tech tank that requires a lot of lights, ferts, C02 and $ and be pruning the plants every month, or do you want a fairly low maintenance tank with some plants in it that doesn't drive you nuts with algae outbreaks due to light/fert/C02 imbalance?
  2. I have clowns, but you will have to wait until they breed! and they eat their fry if the tank is not heavily planted.
  3. Heh... Another take on a overflow. http://www.melevsreef.com/acrylics/overflow.html http://www.melevsreef.com/acrylics/routing.html

  6. Sooooo.... it seems that a few of you have this book now, who is willing to do me a review for the new website, eh? I can provide the images, you just need to do the review, preferably something pretty comprehensive, not just half a dozen lines please. Any takers?

  8. They are indeed Littlest Petshop - about 1 tenth belong to my nine year old, the rest belong to the daughter of a friend, who is a bit older. The upturned bath was probably the fault of Lil Malt Cheese Ball, who Godzilla'd his way through the lot at some stage and was unceremoniously seen off with a few high pitched screams and frantic arm waving. :-? Wok...
  9. I use rocks or a good sized stone for stem plants until they are established, but then usually end up digging them out, breaking half of the plant off and replanting the top half under the rock or stone again

  12. A reminder that all club Secretaries are required to notify the FNZAS Secretary in writing by the 14th day of April this year the names and addresses of its delegates. If your AGM falls after this date can you please notify the Secretary directly after your AGM. If no written notification of the names of your delegates is received, the last recorded delegates still stand, and any new delegates will not have voting rights at the AGM in June, or any meeting thereafter. In the event of a delegate not being able to attend a particular meeting of the Federation, the Society concerned may appoint a proxy. Notice of such appointment in writing to be in the hands of the Federation Secretary before the meeting commences. A proxy need not necessarily be a member of the Society appointing but may if the Society so desires be a member of the executive. Also, if you club has held its AGM and your committee details have changed, please send these details to the FNZAS Secretary as well, the clubs pages on the website will be updated as these are received. If you wish to add more information for prospective club members to your page, send that information as well.
