    .

yea don't jump on the big old bad teacher band wagon all of us have probably done things we learned later was not right. also shops often lead us astray with info.
  2. death to the makers of those plastic prisons!
  3. mmmm really touching piece.... there's no hiding what the voice truely shows. karma will come around in way or another so sending positive vibes your way too. perhaps in time if is forced to close it will reopen elsewhere
  4. double dose with flourish excel will do the trick but monitor your inhabitants carefully after treating as some sensitive fish may start to react badly to it such as discus if that happens do a 50% water change. goodluck

    leopard fish

meanwhile there's tonnes of tropical fish we can't get  like leopardfish tho, not much variety in the coldwater section but this one is a nice addition
  9. nice man! you should get hundreds using an egg trap. i conversed once with someone overseas who was trying to breed glowlights in large numbers like i was and she eventually gave up on glowlights and had way more success with tiger barbs. i don't think their eggs are as likely to fungus.

    Help Please

probably what the prazi was for, or to worm them. (it does both). yeah that small the mortality rate will be high. good clean warmed dechlorinated water helps a lot too.
  13. haha yeah man those aussies must have it good esp in the northern areas ay? frenchy?
  14. ministry nice, pendulum nice caryl there's lots.....how much are you listening to? as you get older you do tend to get more stuck in ones ways/resort to comfortable music you know. i was incredibly surprised at how good James Blunt's whole CDs are I've heard 3 now (one was live) and they're all fantastic. Am I getting older cuz I figured "Beautiful" would be his only good song? lol (Saw him live in Auckland too... AMAZING)
  15. your calculation is correct however your unit price will be wrong. $0.093/kWh = 9.3c ... so unless you're on a "night only" meter (which only runs 11pm-7am) that can't be unless your power company is about to go bankrupt. more than likely your unit rate is actually $0.193 (19.3c/kWh) = $5.79. have you worked out it's on 100 hrs/week? At 50% of the time it's 90 hours
  16. WICKED! (I think you meant "from" first batch)
  17. well it's not that simple my friend also when the asteroid comes (and it will come) will you suddenly wish we invested in life elsewhere? only the emos will be happy if we didn't guys guys guys you gotta keep it in perspective here. ppl always say the money could've been spent somewhere else.....course it could've been! could've been spent on nukes too but i'm sure glad it went into a truly humbling and inspiring event that only occurs every 4 years. you can't get too distressed about that. reduce it down to a micro level, the movie theatre could have plastic chairs and donate the money they spent on plush comfortable seats to charity. Just a few thoughts
  18. I took my bros lab dog for a run the other day around a boardwalk and it comes to a part where a stream runs into the estruary. to my surprise i looked down into the crystal clear water and i straight away noticed a single whitebait....then another and another until there was a whole school there. very neat experience to witness. i was amazed that they were so close to saltwater as i've only ever seen them in freshwater rivers before. further up the bush becomes denser and there's oxygen-looking weed in the water. do you think there could be freshwater shrimp amongst the weed?
  19. leopardfish are a neat coldwater fish, haven't seen any for a while tho brian a the goldfish bowl up here used to have a local supplier i believe.
